The average upper-arm size for an adult male is roughly 13" flexed. Think about it though... we all avidly lift here and probably have lots of friends who do, too. So when we're at the gym, we're around big guys. When we're hangin out, we're around big guys. Our views get distorted. So with 13.5" arms, you're above average, but still small for a lifter.
Memento Mori
Only at bodybuilding.com would there be thousands of fans of bodybuilding who refuse to admit that bodybuilders use steroids. If you think steroids are cheating, follow a sport that is regulated by the WDA.

yeah 13 is pretty small...if ur going to go to bodybuilding forums and say that ur arms are 13" around then yes, they are small. im 19 and 6'2 and my arms are 17 1'2 inches flexed with 7% b/f. just hit the gym. as for the average guy...the average guy eats burgers and sits on his ass. u gotta know more about the human body and who ur targeting. if ur talking to bodybuilders...then the average size of the arm will be bigger as apposed to 17 y/o's who hardly work out.

Someone who is 5'6 or 5'8 or w/e can not really compare there arms to someone who is 6'1 or 6'2 or w/e. It's not really a fair comparison for a taller person as they have much longer arms than a shorter person does, therefore their arms will be smaller in size. Arms size doesn't mean a damn thing in terms of strength.
