Cheapest Joint Rub?
What is the cheapest effective joint rub out there. In my opinion it would need some Glucosimine or Chondroitin and MSM. What is everyone using? I have found one cheap source.

Even though they have it for sale I don?t think that rubbing a Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM mixture on your joints would be very effective but swallowing it in the proper pill form would be a whole other story. I believe that taking this internally does help the joints but you need to take the pills for a minimum, according to the bottle, of 2 months before you can expect to see any results.
I, being from the old school on certain days, shoulder and chest to be specific rub a good dollop of A535 on my shoulders and elbows to really get the heat into them and to bring as much blood as possible to the joints especially when I start doing my warm ups, which by the way I have started doing a bit longer so that I can totally warm and loosen up the joint areas and the muscles.

I agree, topical use is for aches only, daily supplementation with proper dosages is required for accurate lasting relief
We still use NOW Foods Glucosamine 1000 & MSM1500 twice a day

For aches & pains I use Tiger Balm ultra strength. Menthol, camphor, & a few oils like clove & mint. Smells horrible, works great. Unfortunately it's not sold here on bb com, but there's a good deal at Costco. Hey Cap, what's A535?

topicals (as already stated) would be primarily good for temp relief for aches/pain. i prefer to get to the root and attack those joints directly.
one of my faves is primaforce elastamine, pretty cheap too.
omega sports flex is also good.
right now i'm on controlled labs orange triad.
cissus is something to consider as well.
primaforce has a cheap version.
my personal stack is usually elastamine/cissus.
I use Ejaculoid. I'd prove it to you, but I'm not a homo.

Agreed, do both.

I don't use Bowflex. The Bowflex is lame. I only workout on the original Chuck Norris Total Body Gym. It's hardcore!

We use this in the clinic and it works well.

rub or swallow not nasty
ive read quite a bit about both applications, and of course tried them both to death.
its hard to determine whats really happening,as with a rub there are usually other ingredients that will temp.stop the pain and one doesent really know what is doing the job.
its hard to believe that any otc topical will penetrate to the joint.and if it does ,what will it bring into the joint with it.all the dirt on your skin.also i have heard the argument that the amount of glucosamine or other substance like msm that gets to each joint is virtually nothing as the compound is not pain specific and a few pills spread throught the body is not enough to do anything.all that being said,i use msm powder 10 lb. cont. mixing several tbl.spoons twice a day, into my protien drink, and get what reliel i get.

My sister works for a physical therapist and she swears by BioFreeze. She is 9 years younger than me, so she prefers the newer methods for aches and pains.
I still swear by my father's method "if it don't burn, it ain't working."

Thanks for the replies guys. I ordered a sample of Biofreeze. I got some Blue-Emu at Walgreens and it seems okay. My wife likes the no smell factor. I order vitamins and such from Puritan's Pride and they have a glucosimine and MSM rub that is very cheap(4oz for $3.99). I think I will throw a tube or two on my next order.

A decent over the counter cream for pain relief is Myoflex: http://www.myoflex.ca/eng/trial_offer.asp
It doesn't have a warming or cooling sensation, but does work rapidly to lessen aches and soreness.

I got my sample of Biofreeze today and I like it. I have had it on for about an hour now and it still feels kind of cool and it did help my knee pain a little. I found you can order the 32oz pump through Amazon for about $37 shipped.

Ahhh...I thought you were asking, "what's the cheapest joint to go to get a rub?"
Sorry, my bad

Yorkshireman I: Right! I had to get up in the morning, at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill and pay mill-owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our dad would kill us and dance about on our graves, singing Hallelujah!

I read this, ordered celadrin and have been using it for about 2 weeks. The knee is great. I can't believe how well it works.

This sounds good. I just got a big bottle of Biofreeze and ordered a couple of the Puritan lotion bottles though. If it works, it would be worth a third!

muscle rub
i found a real strong inexpensive one, when my elbows were so bad that i had to rub the stuff all over my upper forearm to lower bicep and then wrap the forarm to train.wallmart sells a formuls by equate, that has the same ingredients as extra strength ben gay,its strong and it smells strong the large size is under 4.00 as compared to over 9.00 for ben gay,im happy to say im able to use a little spray stuff when i have some pain, and dont have to touch it.
