only seen good results, if people can stick with it.
if you want veggie goodness without the carbs, take VegeGreens.

I've found a few "cheaper" brands out there that are higher in carbs, anywhere from 5g-20g carbs a scoop. Typically find them at your local overpriced healthfood store.
As for lowcarb, these diets are what you make of it. If you tough it out, stay motivated and work hard then they will work for you. Did for me, but it sure as hell wasn't easy. Carb withdrawal never went away when I was on Keto, made for a few bad days during the week.
Read up on some low-carb diet articles, plan your diet out and pace yourself.

oh yes and one more thing, I have read that you shouldn't limit yourselves veggies on a low carb plan, even though they are full of em.
you should read this article, which I personally look at as my own bible to weightloss

there are lots of low-carb diets out there with all varying degrees of carb intake. But generally, most greens aren't counted and if they are, then it's just net carbs which are total carbs minus fibre.
Keto works for me and to me it's not a diet. just a lifestyle.

4-5 scoops a day I guess.
Low carbs are very effective as long as u introduce frequent carbs refeeds.

Damn, I take in 300 grams of starchy carbs in the form of Oats a day. That's not including the rest of the fruit, veggie, brown rice carbs either.

Not useless, just not needed. Anyone can lose weight with a balanced diet. Those who dont have the patience to get a balanced diet right turn to keto/low carb and deprive themselves of carbs, which aid in repairing and building muscle.

Low carb diets are stupid.
Carb Cycling diets are smart.
You need carbohydrates. plain and simple, not only for energy but your CNS needas carbohydrates. Ever have a workout where afterwords you kinda dizzy ? About to faint ? Having a little trouble walking down the stairs, thats becuase your glycogen stores are used, and welcome to the world of catabolism.
You need carbs, do carbohydrate cycling, but anyone suggesting going prolong periods of very low carbohydrates ( less then 120g a day) does not know what their talking about.

x2- also, your body will adjust to a static diet and your fat burning and metabilism will slow down. Cyling carbs changes the inputs so your body doesn't get used what your giving it.

low carb diet useless? to me yes. is it effective? for some people yes. ive read many articles stating that the weight you lose from a low carb diet is water at first and as soon as you eat carbs again, you put the weight back on. as far as my experiences go, a low carb diet to me is idiotic. i felt like **** not eating barely any carbs at all. not to mention, i sure as hell wouldnt have the energy to lift. i would never endorse a diet that advocates eating a lot of fat (specifically saturated fat, the kind that clogs your arteries eventually and might give you potential heart problems). these type of diets advocate eating foods that are not good for your body and they slam foods that are really good for our body and have a lot of important nutrients like fruit and oatmeal. this kinda diet is not good for long term cuz eventually youll give ion and eat carbs, its only a matter of time. another thing ill never understand is how people make carbs to be the enemy and say carbs are the reason they get fat. lets keep this simple, calories in vs. calories out.

What's a long period? And does being a "genetically gifted phenomenon" somehow destroy Vince's credibility?
I can't post a picture of my "physic" by the way

Not useless at all. Low carb is useless for me, but that is because I hate eating less than 200g carbs a day, and even 200 is what I consider low carb for me.
Keto is great for fat loss.

One thing you have to admit, although weight loss (fat loss) is much easier with a low-carb diet, muscle gain is insanely more difficult.

Well I totally agree with cutting out sugars , such as those cheap wpc which contains tons of milk sugars.
Cutting sugars is one thing. Cutting carbs out all together for someone who is active (workouts + cardio) is probably not the way to go

If you can have the same intense workouts as you can without so much carbs, you can do well on a low carb diet.
I never really NEED carbs to grow, or anything, I grow without them, but my workouts suffocate without carbs, to the point where I'm dumbbell shoulder pressing 30's. Amazing how 50g of oatmeal 90 minutes preworkout boosts that weight up all the way to 45's 50's.

thats my opinion girl, you get real. id take fruits and oats over saturated fats any day. a high fat diet has also been linked to certain cancers and diseases. i just gave my reason why i think low carb diets are useless. if some people like them, nothing wrong with that. i wont deprive myself from anything that is healthy whether if its a carb or not.

I made a mistake of going low-carbs for over 4 weeks (less than 75). Once I got back to normal of 150-175gm, my body started to store more of fat at my previous maintenance calories. arggh! Since then, I agree low-carb works, but it doesn't works for me because of what happened post low-carb diet.
I prefer 125-175gms of carbs for myself, no less, no more!
