heart rate monitor watch

I want to get a heart rate monitor watch without the chest strap.
I don't need all the fancy stuff I just want basic functions to work accurately.
I don't want to wear the chest strap so are there any good heart rate monitor watch that works accurately without chest strap?
cheaper the better.

Chest straps monitor your heart rate, all other variations measure your pulse and blood pressure. Pulse and blood pressure can vary in your extremities and not be reliable. But if your mind is made up there are a few heart rate monitor watches for sale on the market. Expect to pay up to about 3 times what you would for a good chest strap/watch combo.
