How long can you keep a protein shake?

I was wondering if I were to make alot of protein shakes with water and store them in a fridge is there a certain amount of time that I should keep them for? Will they go bad if they stay mixed with water for too long? Thanks

Protein shakes should be consumed immeidetly. Refrigration is good for no more than a day, unless you want to get sick from all the bacteria build up.

Just keep the powder in a shaker and add water when you are ready. Also, I was under the impression that protein only breaks down due to heat, and bacteria doesn't grow that well in a refrigerator. You should be okay for a day.
