    Question Dent in my Quad!

    Hi All,

I'm not sure if this where I should post this question....but thought I'd give it a try.

I have a slight indentation in my left quad from playing a particular musical instrument for 30 years (it sits on my left leg).....it's very slight but of course I notice....

I'm wondering if there's any way to correct this? One of my trainers thought that deep tissue massage might help....I'm just wondering if anyone out there might have any suggestions.

I'm a 39-year-old woman, about 5'7", currently 128lbs....unsure of my body fat% presently, been training a little over a year, mostly on my own but with trainers when I can afford it...I really want to enter a figure competition when I turn 40 in July....

On my own I basically train specific body parts each day: legs; chest; back; shoulders; triceps & biceps...abs everyday, calves twice a week...low-moderate cardio a minimum 30mins a day up to 60 mins. 6-7days a week....I usually do have a rest day in there though....also, I've been trying to go as heavy as I can (alone) with only maybe 4-8reps per set.....my diet consists of the usual oatmeal/egg whites....veggies/salad/protein source (I don't eat red meat)....some starchy carbs, and fruit on ocassion. Protein drinks too....5-6 meals a day, every 2-3 hours, rarely 4....and I avoid eating late in the evening (after 6-8pm)....

Supplements include multi-vitamins, glutamine, creatine, glucosomine, and sometimes a fat burner....

My body has definitely changed over the year, I get a lot of people in & out of the gym who ask me if I'm a personal trainer & if I can help them so I guess I must be on the right path.....however, I'm still very new to the sport and am interested in learning more....I would really like to correct this weird dent in my leg....

    Thanks!
