how long should i wait after eating a full meal before i workout?

nonsense, it depends entirely what you eat. it's sort of self explanatory that you should not consume any large meals that take up a lot of energy to be metabolized right before you workout, such as meals high in fat, but a little meal consisting of simple carbs and/or complex carbs and a complete protein should be considerated manditory when trying to pack on some muscle, but this is where a pre-workout shake comes in handy. however, any meal right before leg day for me, means i throw up, so then i keep my last meal before workout a little further apart. but i guess most of the guys here are brainwashed by bodybuilding.com and volume training, are also brainwashed by the idea of post workout shake only.
