cracking noise in knee

for some reason whenever i squat now im feeling and hearing a cracking noise in my right knee. On every rep. Im sure you guys know the noise im talking about..

is this bad? does it mean my form is bad? i don't want to get injured..

Does it hurt? If not than it's most likely built up fluid being dispersed, I got that all of a sudden a while ago and to be honest it scared the **** outta me lol even with no pain you don't like to hear your knees start to randomly crack...but my doctor told me it was normal as long as there's no pain.
