I just got back from the 2007 OCB Mr Natural Indiana (actually I just got back from a NICE dinner at Pizza Hut lol). I took first in my class and first overall! Pics and hopefully some videos will be coming very shortly, but I wanted to post a quick update on tonight's show.
Also, I have decided to enter the 2007 OCB Midwest States on November 17th and has become my MAIN focus and goal for this year. It's a pro qualifier (this one wasn't), and I plan on dialing in my glutes, nailing my posing better, and getting my pro card! I am still going to do the NPC show I had lined up for October 6th, but with my main focus being elsewhere now, I don't plan on peaking like I did for this one. I'm really only doing it now because 1) I've already paid my fee, 2) I'll be able to score a ton of free samples and cheap supplements, and 3) I want the posing practice to polish up. But my MAIN focus will be November 17th pro qualifying show in DeKalb, IL. So, it's back to the grind tomorrow! I appreciate those who followed along and whose that will continue to follow along in my journey towards a pro card! I leave now with a few things on my mind as I recall tonight's show...
* I will NEVER cut water again. Period. My vascularity, and most notably, my energy levels were THROUGH THE ROOF ALL DAY!
* You can NEVER practice posing enough
* Dream Tan kicks ass
* Layne is DA MAN! He knows his stuff and was extremely helpful all day even though he was busy doing things at the show. Oh, and don't let his posing pictures scare you, he's just as nice and friendly as he is intelligent. Thanks again Layne for giving me the vehicle to take my physique to uncharted territory and beyond. I simply can't wait to see the final product in DeKalb!

Your hard work paid off, and you deserved it easily!
Yorkshireman I: Right! I had to get up in the morning, at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill and pay mill-owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our dad would kill us and dance about on our graves, singing Hallelujah!

And guess what the overall winner received? A free tub of the new and improved grape XTEND! How awesome is that? Yea, the sword was cool, but how can it compare to the Xtend? I think I was more excited about the Xtend then receving my first sword That was truly an awesome suprise. And if people ever wonder why Scivation gets my money when I buy supplements, I have too many reasons to choose from to explain why.

I appreciate all the congrats and everyone following along! It has been a long, but factually fun, road to get to where I'm at...and it's only going to get better! I will post pictures, and hopefully some video shots of the contest as soon as I can get a hold of them

the xtend was certainly a big hit. And the samples of Primal N20 & Rage were gone in about 30 minutes LOL. I had competitors coming up to me and asking if there was any xtend left and said they'd pay me 'x' amount after it was all gone LOL.
Tommy, you did an outstanding job, you are awesome but no where close to where you'll be in 9 weeks. This is just a warm up for you. Time for the big show. I appreciate the compliments, but again, hard workers make my job easy. Here are some pics from the show, Tommy by himself, Tommy onstage, & Tommy with my figure gal Ann who won the open figure tall, novice tall, and masters figure overall at her very first show!
I had a great time, and I always make it a point to try and make at least one friend at every show. Ann trains at my gym so we were already friends, but I definitely added a few more last night, Tommy included. A great guy... even had the thoughtfulness to get his mother flowers on her birthday even with everything he was going through in the final week of prep.

Tommy, congrats again. Your journey has been impressive and results inspiring. I've also decided to make the trip up to Dekalb and do the Midwest States. With you being there I've got my work cut out for me. Thanks for the motivation. We can share some Xtend before and pizza after.
