Most Underrated Supplement?
Personally I think Armageddon has gone over lots of people's heads. Probably because they don't advertise so much.
But for such a great product I think it's being overlooked largely.

The thing I find about protein powders and multivitamins is that you cannot measure the effectiveness. I don't buy protein powders anymore for this reason, I try to eat instead. At least for me, the difference between me taking those and not is not measurable. No weight or strength change. Although I see how a multi can be beneficial to your health.

Hey, if you can get enough protein from solid food, that's great. Protein powder is only necessary for most of us because it is imposssible to eat enough protein while still eating enough carbs/fats.

Yep, can't lift when your sick!
The thing with Protein powders is that its an easy way to get the protein that is needed when you don't have food/microwave etc... Now granted there are new "BLENDS" that are coming out that has extra than just whey...
But IMO a great multi is overlooked in that reason that you don't get "BIG" or get the "PUMP"....
But like I said before, can't lift when your sick

not to mention that it gets really expensive to eat 170-250 grams of protein using just solid food... not everyone has the budget of ronnie or jay who can eat 6 solid meals + protein shakes....
my addition is Joint Supplements - (at least for older people or massively serious people)

not to mention the B-Vitamins help with carb metabolization, zinc and magnesium help raise test, etc.

eat the right diet and you'll get enough anti-oxidants.
You can't supplement with AO's if you aren't getting enough in your diet, and if you are, you aren't really going to see a benefit. At least that is Victor Conte's take on it.

Sometimes the best diet for a Bodybuilder doesn't provide enough antioxidants, because of the lack of variety. Is there any research to confirm that if you don't get enough in your diet that supplemental AO'x would not help?

IMHO, nothing. They are all grossly overrated. The only ones that really "work" enough to be somewhat worth spending money on are CrM, X-Factor, and Activate, and I am not sure I will be spending money on anything apart from whey anymore until I feel I am ready for hormonal products/ PHs/AAS

I agree most are overrated. Try mixing (taking together) NOW products for your specific needs rather than buying low dosed formulas that are overpriced and premixed.

This is not universally correct, Conte's opinion notwithstanding.
Easily the most underrated supplement in history is Designer Supplements Vigor.

I would put Storm, and most of the other designer blends up there as well.

Storm has some ridiculous claims. I.E) ALA dosage in the powder, what the hell is that. Other than that, I like Shock Therapy.

i think majority of the people who lift weights(like 50%) don't use BCAAs often. However on this forum there is a bigger percentage that do use them than those who don't participate in discussions.
