lifting with light weights

i only have 20 lb. dumbells but i really need about 30 or 35 lb.ers does that mean that i wont gain any mass and only endurance or what. also do you know of any store online or not that i can get some chaep 30 lb dumbells? p.s. if i lift slowly with my 20 lb dumbells would it give me mass at all?

First of all, you should be lifting slowly, and make sure keeping good form.

If you are getting 1 piece dumbbells, that can be expensive, why dont you just get a dumbbell set with removable weights?
Its more hassle, but it sounds like you cannot afford a full dumbbell set.

GET A MEMBERSHIP TO A GYM!!!

Don't expect to make good gains with only 3 sets of dumbells.

Seeing as he can't afford dumbbells, i doubt a gym membership is in the question.

If your dumbbells use plated, then do down to the local Modells or whatever, and buy some heavier plates. You can get them pretty cheap.

my gym only cost 30 bucks a month or $230 for a year. man, i love my government funded recreation up here in canada.
