    Ensure before or after workout?

Should I treat Ensure like candy (which means I should only eat it directly before a workout) or should I treat ensure like white bread (which I think is only eaten after a workout)?

I'm not sure who eats candy before a workout, but I think it would be more beneficial to drink ensure post workout, although a whey + carb drink may be better. Ensure could, however, fill the gaps between meals to get your calories in.

imo if they weret so expensive id drink a pack a day. i buy around 2 packs a month and drink the whole pack in about 5 hours they taste so good lol. i was jsut deciding wheteher to buy muscle milk or ensure and i unfortunately bought mm

an EIGHT OZ serving of ensure has nearly 400 cals and 50 carbs with as much protein as almost 2cups of milk. yeah im beefing up the stats but still. and u know unlike some of these other companies that if ensure dont work nothing will. they use ensure in hospitals for anorexic patients and so they are probably the only fda approved supplemt arounf today

plus it has omega 3, vitamins,no trans fats and a ton of healthy fats
