I am a 31 y.o. female, 5'6" 150lbs. Weights and cardio 3 days a week. In the past year I have noticed how much harder it is to keep my fat % down and Ive had to work extra hard. I am not comfy in my skin at the present mo. and want to try some supplements to help me out of my funk. I just ordered a combo I found on Bodybuilder.com which is:
Rapid Fat Loss - Cytodyne Xenadrine NRG and Syntrax Guggulbolic Extreme SYN 018.
Has anyone used this recommeded combo before? If so can you please tell me how it worked for you and if you would do it again? Also I did some research on Guggulbolic and it states that it raises your body temperature. Does that mean I am going to be sweating my butt off at work? It's already too warm in my office.....
Any advice/recommedations are appreciated!
Thanks!

I think what he's getting at is that EC is far more effective than those other products, so if you weren't thrilled with the results you got from EC, you shouldn't expect to be impressed by them.
I can sympathize with your frustration trying to shed those unwanted lbs. I haven't tried everything yet, but it does seem to me that what everyone says is true: EC is as good as it gets. I don't know if you could be having the same problem I did, but I found my biggest problem was I would always restrict calories TOO MUCH. But that's a bit off-topic for this board.
Definitely check out all of those threads pu12en... posted. Good stuff.
P.S. - No I haven't tried either of those specific products myself. But the list of ingredients tells me they should only be moderately effective. Not a total waste I don't think, but not as effective as EC - so I myself wouldn't shell out any of my hard-earned cash for 'em.Last edited by DaddyR; 05-04-2005 at 09:29 AM.

The real big reason I am weary of using EC again is that I read it takes away from muscle mass, where Guggulbolic targets only fat.
The cardio I am doing is running treadmill 5 miles, and 7 miles on rollerblades when it's nice out.
I'm not doubting you pu1......just speaking from experience.
So between the EC and the lipo-6, what have been your experiences? I will have to do a cross check on those.

I would say lipo-6 would be your best bet for something to rival EC. EC and YC are both good stacks, and Lipo-6 is YC with synephrine (aka YCS) - not a bad product. EC is simply good, economical, and I haven't seen any greater muscle loss with it compared to just plain dieting and cardio - it hasn't proven to be an issue for me at least.
I have to agree with pu12en that if you didn't get impressive results with EC, then there may be something you need to adjust beyond just your supps. More cardio for example. Also check your nutrition.Last edited by DaddyR; 05-04-2005 at 10:02 AM.
