Optimum 100% "Cleaning Wallets"
Does any one agree that optimum 100% whey protein price is rising gradually.
4 month: $28.99
3 month: $29.99
2.5 month: $34.99
1 month: $37.99 then $38.88 than $39.99
And for sure in the next 2 month its price will exceed 42.99 according to constant increase in price.
Optimum 100% is considered No.1 best selling product in BB.
If users are upset and switch its product, the company dont care, the price is still going on to increase.
Shame on the company using 1000's of consumers knowing how much far they increase the price consumer will still purchase.
Optimum nutrition company is currently benefiting economy of scale. So it must be the only company to be able to lower its products cost even though other factors of production increases. Although how much cost of sales increases like milk price or any other raw materials they can still decrease the price or make it steady, but instead increasing the price.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_scale
As for me i will be condering other products:
Higher Power 100% Whey Power, 5 Lbs.
OR
Dymatize Elite Whey, 5 Lbs.
Please inform me if anyone agree on my opinion, personally it is my personal opinion. I am so pi**ed off from Optimum 100% whey protein.

Fuel has somthing to do with it too...Cost to ship it...If you think about it its pretty big for not such a big turn around...It sucks ass but are u really going to change products...Optimum 100% whey is the best protein by far IMO...If somthing works you stick with it. I go through a ton of it (1 5lb tub every 3 weeks) and i dont have a ton of money but its worth it if the product is that good and IMO it is...

ON whey is nowhere near the best quality for its price a few better proteins for cheaper are Champion whey, sportpharma whey(best quality wpc) and dymatize elite. ON whey might have been the best a year or two ago not because of the taste and quality but because of the price and now they have lost that edge also.

You aren't obligated to buy ON 100%; if the price is too much for you, buy a different protein. I don't see what the problem is.

Good post. Plus, like others have said, ON is definately not that great of a protein in comparison to others now that their prices have skyrocketed.

Like u have said, optimum 100% whey protein was always on top, not because of they have the highest quality or taste, but they was the best price/serving and quality. They must now come to their end for best selling product on market.

What a great article!!, I totally agree with u that optimum 100% whey protein is overrating its price. Personally i have switched to Dymatize Elite Whey, 5 Lbs. its taste are much better, and i don't see a difference in my overall weight gaining.

nope, I am talking about whey, whey in general is way overrated.
I am not here to promote intrapro nor say its higher quality, I am merely saying 100% whey and most other wheys are way overrated.

I didn't assume anything, I made a hypothesis and I was proven wrong.
As for whey being overrated, I disagree. Granted, there is way too much emphasis on supplements now-a-days, protein powder (whey, casein, egg) isn't overrated. Just my opinion.

Once again, I did read and just generalized all protein. I said whey isn't overrated then gave my opinion on other protein powder types. Concluding all protein powder, whey, casein, and egg aren't overrated.
Edit: Not too be a smart ass, well I guess I kind of am, I wasn't aware I was talking. We are communicating through text, which results in no verbal action by either party.

Sadly the price of eggs is slowly increasing, too. But it doesn't seem to be at such a high rate as dairy products.

every month something is called overratted on this board it never fails. Do your own research and see what works for you.
As for the prices the main thing is the gas prices and the problem with trade. I work for the vitamin shoppe and this is something a lot of people cant avoid. Blame the government not ON

exactly. i went to costco, 90 eggs for 10 bucks!!!!!!! i used to get it for 7 something like 1.5 months ago.
but 90 eggs, think of the cost PWO. it is better protein than whey. have some BCAA during workout or a good PRE-Workout meal you should be ok then the eggs pwo.
