    Constantly farting ?

    What could be the cause of constantly farting , any help would be appreciated thanks

    The main reasons would be either with what you are eating and how you are eating it. Post the foods that you mainly eat and we may be able to advise. Some people are intollerant to milk products or wheat for example and this can cause problems. Most people tend to get some problems when eating the bodybuilding diet consisting of lots of protein, vegetables and fruit.

    Also if you rush when eating your food there is more chance of excess air entering the stomach. This causes you to get bloated and the air can only escape through the obvious place. The best way I find is that I enjoy the meal more if I put my fork down between bites and take the time to enjoy the food that I'm eating. So just don't chew twice and swallow which gives your digestive system a pretty hard time! Enjoy the flavours in your mouth and you will feel more satisfied and as a bonus I find this reduces beinge eating as well!

    If your drinking 80% whey concentrate mixed with milk that can cause excess gas. Try switching to whey isolate or at least mix it with water instead. This apparently helps out alot of people with the same problem .

    Thanks guys , my diet goes this way

    Breakfast - cereal ( wholewheat/grain ), Skim Milk , Eggs , PB , Vit B and C , flaxseed oil
    Snack - Chicken salad
    Lunch - Oat , Chicken breast , eggs , mixed veggies , fruits
    Snack - protein shake
    Dinner - Brown Rice or Oat , fish , Veggies , fruits
    Before bed - Protein shake

    Fruits = green/red apples , pears , Strawberries , grapefruits , bananas..


    Is there anything wrong with my diet ?
    My friend said i could be consuming too much fibre.
    Is that true ?

    Lol yeah my gas is terrible these last few days. Broccoli, cottage cheese, tuna, eggs, and beans. Terrible combination!

    Holy crap, I might have to give that a try. I eat so fast. I so hope that is the cause of my constant gas. Thats means I would be able to control it by eating slower, but I should get fuller/supress my appetite on less food by eating slower.

    oh my god i eat really fast too, and i want to slow down but i love my food.
    Also i eat alot of beans too, dam it, girls arent allowed to have gas, its just not right!!!!!!!

    Try staying away from dairy for a week and see if it makes much of a difference. Dairy is the #1 allergen and often causes gas. I know myself, I love milk but can't drink it (however cottage cheese seems to be fine).

    This happened to me when I started eating properly. I could clear a room. It may be the fiber, but it's not too much. Your body will get used to it.

    i get this when i eat oatmeal and a protein shake in the morning. i then got a class at 8 and sometimes the sound is so loud i get paranoid that the people behind me talking might be laughing at me. but i solved this when i started eating earlier in the morning and taking a dump before i left.

    Luckily when I get the protein farts they aren't noisey, so I can sneak them out. However they will actually kill small animals and blast holes through walls. That's sometimes hard to explain.
    The first rule of cheat club is you do not talk about cheat club. The second rule of cheat club is you DO NOT talk about cheat club.     This happened to me when I started eating properly. I could clear a room. It may be the fiber, but it's not too much. Your body will get used to it.

    So , how much fibre is considered too much ?

    for me it's too much food in one sitting(like the transition from 'know nuts about a good diet' to a clean bulking diet). eating more at one sitting causes gas for me
