Question about Cardio........
is it better to do Cardio twice a day for fast weight loss??? I do cardio every morning before breakfast about 20 min elliptical and 10 min jumping rope. I cant seem to do it more than 30 min so my question was to see if I can do in the morning and afternoon cardio for better results or just keep doing my morning cardio?? I am so frasturated ((

If you're not losing weight, you might want to take a look at your diet first before adding more cardio. Remember that weight loss is about calories in vs. calories out.

Your biggest problem is wanting FAST weight loss.
Weight is not the same as body fat, and losing or gaining weight isn't indicative of good health, fitness levels, or body fat, especially if it's *fast*.
And breathingsky is correct; before you add cardio to your workouts, you need to examine how much you're eating in relation to how much you need at your activity level.
Also, if you're lifting weights, the possibility of gaining some muscle mass is there. Many people find that, if they have lost some body fat but gained some muscle as well, the scale won't move. It's best to monitor your body fat to gauge progress. And take your time! It's not a race, it's a long process and a lifestyle to be fit.

You answered your own dilema...fast fast is not the way.
Your not saying much by saying your diet is ok.
Yes, you lost weight and now it stopped, there could be lots of reasons why. you may not be eating enough, or eating too much or having too many cheat meals and not enough clean meals, your body has adapted to what you been doing it, ....I can sit here and tell you lots...
you need to seriously look at your diet and read, educate your self as to how much and what your should be eating ect.
doing cardio 2 times a day is not going to do much if you are not 1, eating right, 2 doing too much.
You get the point. I think the above posters gave you good info also.

You could also try mixing your cardio up a bit instead of doing the same thing over and over again which your body gets used to try doing something different
try HIT - high intensity interval training - this is where you push your body to max (full out) until you can't go no more - roughly five min's each time - then take your pace down to place where you can recover (never stop), once you've recovered go all out again
add some boxing and some skipping - this way you use different muscles as well

x2... I would say you probably shouldnt do cardio twice a day if your body is already getting fatigued with the one a day. You have to listen to your body and make sure that you don't overdo it. Just try to get the most you can out of the one a day by changing up your cardio a bit and adding more intervals and intensity. Lifting will help out a lot too...

by doing it twice a day you run the risk of over-training which put you into a bigger rut than you're in now. It's better to keep to once a day and just re-evaluate your diet or change the type of cardio.

switching up to high reps for a session/week or two is good. kick starts the body and can get you over a plateau.
bodybuilders will sometimes do 100's inorder to get over a plateau. 100's is pretty much doing a lower weight and doing 100 reps.
