Endurance Training
Hello everybody,
My roomate and I are argueing about the best way to go about endurance training. He says the most efficient and effective way to build endurace, is to do hard cardio (in his case 4 miles), then hit the weight room. Then he saves the entire next day for rest. Im standing by my idea of doing the 4 miles on one day then hitting the weights the next day.
He also says that with his workout that he eats heavy meals on his workout days, and a lot less on his non-workout days, compared to me where i eat the same amount everyday. I think if you eat less one day and more on another day its not as good for your metabolism.
Remember this is for endurance training so we are both doing high reps and running the same amount.

Can you be a bit more specific on your goals?
You mean endurance like running long distances? We talking marathons? Ultra-marathons?
Are you talking about strength endurance? Like being able to last longer and stronger in wrestling matches and football games?
I guess I'm just confused -- It may be just me but 'Endurance' is a little broad.

I would lift before cardio and eat the same everyday. You will need those calories to recover on rest days
