Nameless@1 2 Weeks out
Hey Guys,
I am 2 weeks out from a show and i need to lose a bit of bodyfat. As far as gaining mass is concerned i am done with that for now and i am trying to cut up and show my abs a little more, they are so damn stubborn!!!
Here i am at 66kg in weight (about 145lbs) at 5'11 and 16 years old)
Tell me what you think, holding water and fat in stomach. UH DAMN ABS!
Nameless
Ps - Serious lagging points are deffinetaly my arms and calves. Back was lagging before but i have hit my lats very hard and i have brought them up pretty well. and the tan brings out my defintion better IMO.

Great conditioning bro. Lots of teens have a hard time coming in lean enough mostly due to lack of experience, but leaness is not going to be a problem with you. A competition judged correctly will put alot of emphasis on conditioning, so you should do well.
Do you have any pictures of what you looked like prior to dieting down?
Keep it up bro
Edit: Oh and just tighten up your posing a bit.

BTW if you can get someone to help ya with the poses cause you can tell that ya got the cuts and conditioning in your back, but the pose is not bringing it out. Also your double bi shot, you have great abs and ya cant see them in that pose...
Youve got it, just gotta show it

I agree with you to an extent. My poses really do suck big time. Especially front lat, back lat and back double bi, oh and front double bi, umm side chest isnt great either. OK I SUCK AT POSING! lol
I dont really have any help where i am (Glasgow), i dont know any bodybuilders in this area. Skip is helping me perfect my posing online though so that is pretty cool.
Thanks Skip *Waves*

I tried to upload this research that I compiled on posing but I cant do it since this craptacular computer wont let me.
Here is the index of the book (its about 20 pgs, with a small section about posing an onstage attitude
I. Judging Criteria 4
II. Mandatory Poses 5
III. Muscularity Enhancement Tips 6
IV. Common Bodybuilder Mistakes 11
V. Posing Tips 14
VI. Competition Checklist 18
This is the first page :
Judging Criteria
The following judging criterion has been obtained from Natural Bodybuilding Incorporated ( http://www.nbibodybuilding.com/contests/rules/rules.htm ) and contains an excellent definition of the 4 basic areas by which judges will make their decisions.
There are four basic principles the judges will look for in every competitor. They are as follows:
1) Symmetry refers to the overall balance of the individual’s physique. The muscles of the body should be proportionate in definition, size, and shape to create the overall balance needed to achieve great symmetry.
2) Muscularity refers to and is often associated with muscle maturity. Muscularity the amount of muscle on the body in relation to the given skeletal structure. Hardness, size, and thickness of the muscle add to the muscularity of the individual.
3) Definition refers to the striations within a muscle. To achieve great definition, the individual would have to minimize the amount of fat in, on, and around the muscle along with the reduction of water retention.
4) Presentation is often underrated and a very crucial aspect of every competition. The individual must effectively display his/her physique to the judges by correctly using proper posture, posing stances, and stage presence. Secondary factors include, body hair, choice of trunks, choice of music, and choice of poses.
The execution of all the aforementioned offer a formula for a winning presentation.
hit me up with a pm and email address if ya want and Ill send it to you
The fact that you are competing without anyone helping you (i.e. bb with comp. experience) is a testament to your will...you should be very proud of yourself
Especially with the temptation to eat haggas(sp?) !!! hahahahahaha

Cheers bro,
I wuld say legs and chest were my strong points, deffinetaly. ll the other muscle groupe are either lagging or non-existant lol. With the exception of my back, I have added a bit more mass to that.
Thanks again
Nameless@1
PS - i think my quads are good, but my hamsrtings are deffinetaly lagging too. I usually only work these by doing hamstring curls and SLDL's. Are there any other exercises???
Thanks

Good job!!
You have done some excellent work, man!!! The conditioning looks really good!!! Although you may be concerned about how your midsection looks now, remember--you still have two weeks yet, and some of that may resolve itself by then. Good luck at your comp--I have a feeling you will do really well.

Looking great bro
One of the most ripped bodies I've seen. I'm sure you'll do very good in the competition....However, I still you should try to increase the mass on your arms...It you got that it'd be perfect.

All Ripped Up
Ripped, ready and TANNED! Posing to music helps. Music that wont scare the judges and audience away, of course. Going on stage performing is always a bit nervewrecking in the beginning. Jus give the people what they want. A good show.

i would say for 12 weeks out you are ahead of schedule for contest prep. you are definitely in need of some solid mass, but for 16 you have good size. focus on winning your show and then bulk up. great conditioning. and you say some of your poses arent good. you MUST fix that before the show. work on that anytime you can, preferably daily. you gotta nail those poses on contest day. no one likes to loose a contest only because they arent posing well, but it happens. if you have enough practice and confidence in your posing ability, when you are onstage it will feel natural and you will know you can do it.

Hey Nameless,
Good luck for the show, I'm sure you'll do well. You're young and have a lot of potential in bodybuilding, judging from your pictures and your attitude towards it all. Therefore you have plenty of time to improve on your already well-developed physique.
I think it's great to see young bodybuilders with potential and zest for the sport.
All the best for the show.

Ah... you look much better with the tan.
Great job, Gary. Try not to look so "in distress" when you do a most muscular. And look straight ahead. Like this: http://www.skippypodar.net/WebGaller...-autograph.jpg
Anywho... I'll AIM you and give you some pointers on your posing.
Talk to you soon!

First, perfect the mandatory poses. Even if you don't have transitioning down yet, if you have your mandatory poses in order, you'll be ok.
I'll help ya though. IM me next time you're on.
