    Corn Starch: GI rating?

In 1 cup of corn starch, there is 117 grams of carbs (only 1 gram of fibre, 0g of sugar), 0 grams of fat, and 0 grams of protein. Would corn starch have a low glycemic index? How would this glycemic index rating compare to that of steel cut oats? Thank you.

In order to get the optimal carbs out of one of my meals, I am going to mix up some corn starch and cottage cheese. I think that may work but I will only do this if corn starch has a low GI lol.

So does anyone know if Corn Starch would have a low GI?

Corn starch pretty much sucks. Really processed, high GI, etc. Poor quality starch.

Yeah, the reason I was thinking about using corn starch was because I needed to fix up the amount of protein I was getting in my meal plan.. 400 grams and a lot of it was from steel cut oats.
