so i took a 3 month break of bodybuilding (not the smartest thing to do) and i went from 161lbs to 153lbs...... im so pissed right now. i know i deserve this because sometimes i only had like 2 meals a day and i was getting drunk every weekend
tomorrow im going to buy all my food water and supplements and this time im not going to cheat because im hurting my gains.. im going to try to put at least 6lbs this 3 months

yea i know what you mean too. over the summer i was out on vacation for 3 weeks and then on another vacation for a month. so i had no access to weights or any gyms. i came back home and all my lifts went down quite a bit. and i could tell i lost some muscle mass. but it took about 2-3 weeks to gain it all back through hard work. it sucks taking a break from lifting

Breaks are beneficial if taken properly, I like to go 9-12 weeks then break for a few days, or maby even a week, but any longer then a week isn't good for your gains unless you've been seriously overtraining for quite some time, then maby 2 weeks would be good.

i took a 3 week break and came back fine lol
275lb atg front squat / 235lb paused bench (in comp) / 445lb Conventional Deadlift using mixed grip/chalk/belt (in comp) / Deadlift-425x3 using a hook grip + chalk / BP low-bar back squat 335x2 & 315x4 & 350x1 (in comp)
A tree with a thin trunk can only make branches so big -me
Won 1st place at my first powerlifting comp!!!!!!!! Yea!!!!!!1

I took 2 months off for rugby... I gained 5lbs and my Legs got stronger
Gained like 10lbs in Squat lol, I guess my coach is right,the Scrummaging machine is good for ya even if I want to kill myself after one session lolPosition: Number 8 & Lock
