    Angry omg dont ever take a "break"

    so i took a 3 month break of bodybuilding (not the smartest thing to do) and i went from 161lbs to 153lbs...... im so pissed right now. i know i deserve this because sometimes i only had like 2 meals a day and i was getting drunk every weekend

    tomorrow im going to buy all my food water and supplements and this time im not going to cheat because im hurting my gains.. im going to try to put at least 6lbs this 3 months

    lol thats exactly what i did i went to cancun and i moved from california to cd juarez (mexico) so i didnt had a gym membership and all that took me 3 months

    yea i know what you mean too. over the summer i was out on vacation for 3 weeks and then on another vacation for a month. so i had no access to weights or any gyms. i came back home and all my lifts went down quite a bit. and i could tell i lost some muscle mass. but it took about 2-3 weeks to gain it all back through hard work. it sucks taking a break from lifting

    Breaks are beneficial if taken properly, I like to go 9-12 weeks then break for a few days, or maby even a week, but any longer then a week isn't good for your gains unless you've been seriously overtraining for quite some time, then maby 2 weeks would be good.

    I just went to college and lost 7 pounds.. But I look more cut so meh w/e.. Although being at 150 was a huge mental boost.

    yea ive recently taken a 3 month break..im tryen to get back into it but i cant seem to get enough motivation to workout on the days wen im spsoed too even though i really want to jsut get home and work out wile im at school wen im home im too tired =[

    i took a 3 week break and came back fine lol
    275lb atg front squat / 235lb paused bench (in comp) / 445lb Conventional Deadlift using mixed grip/chalk/belt (in comp) / Deadlift-425x3 using a hook grip + chalk / BP low-bar back squat 335x2 & 315x4 & 350x1 (in comp)

    Yea dude same here... went from 70kgs down to 65

    And whenever i try get back into it ill get half the first day done due to lack of energy/motivation and always miss the rest of the week.

    I'm in exact same position, been away from lifting since June, so 4 months

    Been doing alot of running and football, so I'm fitter and quicker but I feel small, back to lifting on Monday!!!

    Hardcore over winter, hopeing to put on atleast 10lb by Feb, doable?
