Looks like he's pretty much ruined his career moving to Renault. Shades of Alonso to McLaren where he never saw another podium.

I always thought Daniel went to Renault just to get paid. Knows he won't win anything there and let's be honest, Red Bull aren't winning titles in the next 2 years anyway.

If a seat opens up at Mercedes of Ferrari he'd be a decent shot to land one in the next 2 years

We were complaining about the two horse race in here 3-4 years ago but at least Rosberg was allowed to race him to the end and beat him. If Ferrari can't get their chit together and put Leclerc on even terms with their No. 1 who has had more than enough time to deliver the goods while Kimi was there and choked hard when the pressure was on, then this season will rapidly spiral down the toilet.

I'm surprised people are being fooled by Mercedes letting Bottas get a few complimentary wins before he's locked into wingman mode for the rest of the season.

Like CF said that ship has sailed. Mercedes want Verstappen. Ricciardo hung his nuts out there for Toto and there was no interest thanks to Hamilton calling the shots. He doesn't want anyone who can challenge him — he's happy with his wingman. Mercedes will let him pull even with Schumacher which by that stage he'll be turning 36 and then get Max. Anyway Ricciardo was left to rot waiting for the phone to ring and in the end either had to crawl back up Marko's ass and accept he was Webber 2.0 or take a seat somewhere else.

That leaves Ferrari. Vettel left RBR to get away from him after being humiliated so why would he let him come to Ferrari? Maybe if Vettel is gone he's got a shot but you'd imagine he'll have to show some decent form between now and then. Right now it's amateur hour. Locking up left right and center in a sh!tbox Renault. Can't even put the cursed POS in reverse without racking up another DNF.

I think Vettel will retire once contract with Ferrari runs out next year.

Have feeling that Mick Schumacher will be pushed into Alfa Romeo next year and eventually on to Ferrari for 2021 to be teammate of Charles. (personal opinion Mick speed just isn't there yet in F2, no where near the explosive pace max or norris showed but there is still time for Mick to figure it out)

Leclerc will get rewarded for being loyal to Ferrari and I bet he is gonna be Ferrari number 1 driver next year, he is already showing he is better or equal to Vettel pace.....

Also yeah there is no way in hell Bottas can beat Hamilton over a season.

These few races is just Hamilton being nice, when he starts taking it more seriously he will be beating him easily.

How efficient Mercedes is, I guarantee pole positions between Bottas and Hamilton decides the race. (unless someone gets better start)

But there is basically zero passing at Monaco. If a Ferarri can get on pole, maybe defend the whole race and steal a W. That might make the race interesting, actually.

That's really the only interesting part about this year. It's like watching a no hitter in baseball. The first 5 innings totally suck, but then you start to think about a potential perfect game.

This is worse than the first year of the Turbo V6s. Bottas will only be allowed to win for so long til he's told to move over so HAM can win. Terrible for the sport.
