4 races in
4 1-2 for Mercedes.
same story over and over for past 5 season.
FIA is doing nothing to stop Mercedes domination.
2020 there is no rule changes.
.......................................
^ no Ric will never land at Mercedes with Lewis there.
Mercedes is team in perfect harmony.
Drivers are behaving exactly how they want.
Zero drama.
Bottas is gonna get contract extension by summer for next year and that will be that.
Ric will have to wait till 2021 to even have shot at good seat.
And by than he will be 32-33.
Good luck getting seat with guys like Norris or Max or Leclerc being free agents.
Imo Ricciardo sadly will be heading down Hulkenberg road. Never getting chance to fight with championship car.
That being said Renault are paying him shiitloads for this year and next so it works out for him.Last edited by Carbonfibre; 04-30-2019 at 07:43 AM.

We were complaining about the two horse race in here 3-4 years ago but at least Rosberg was allowed to race him to the end and beat him. If Ferrari can't get their chit together and put Leclerc on even terms with their No. 1 who has had more than enough time to deliver the goods while Kimi was there and choked hard when the pressure was on, then this season will rapidly spiral down the toilet.
I'm surprised people are being fooled by Mercedes letting Bottas get a few complimentary wins before he's locked into wingman mode for the rest of the season.
Like CF said that ship has sailed. Mercedes want Verstappen. Ricciardo hung his nuts out there for Toto and there was no interest thanks to Hamilton calling the shots. He doesn't want anyone who can challenge him — he's happy with his wingman. Mercedes will let him pull even with Schumacher which by that stage he'll be turning 36 and then get Max. Anyway Ricciardo was left to rot waiting for the phone to ring and in the end either had to crawl back up Marko's ass and accept he was Webber 2.0 or take a seat somewhere else.
That leaves Ferrari. Vettel left RBR to get away from him after being humiliated so why would he let him come to Ferrari? Maybe if Vettel is gone he's got a shot but you'd imagine he'll have to show some decent form between now and then. Right now it's amateur hour. Locking up left right and center in a sh!tbox Renault. Can't even put the cursed POS in reverse without racking up another DNF.

I think Vettel will retire once contract with Ferrari runs out next year.
Have feeling that Mick Schumacher will be pushed into Alfa Romeo next year and eventually on to Ferrari for 2021 to be teammate of Charles. (personal opinion Mick speed just isn't there yet in F2, no where near the explosive pace max or norris showed but there is still time for Mick to figure it out)
Leclerc will get rewarded for being loyal to Ferrari and I bet he is gonna be Ferrari number 1 driver next year, he is already showing he is better or equal to Vettel pace.....
.................
Also yeah there is no way in hell Bottas can beat Hamilton over a season.
These few races is just Hamilton being nice, when he starts taking it more seriously he will be beating him easily.
How efficient Mercedes is, I guarantee pole positions between Bottas and Hamilton decides the race. (unless someone gets better start)
As you said and we talked about it before Hamilton would never want someone that can challenge him.
How hard Max and Ric raced together Mercedes would never ever want that either.

get used to it.
Mercedes are lapping everyone up to 6th place.
its laughable how FIA has let Mercedes dominate the sport for 6 years now.
next year same rules no change in anything.
expect another dominance.
I now watch races in 2x speed cause there is nothing to see.
we all laugh at the Ferrari years where they built monster in 2004.
year right after Max Mosley changed the rules to have tires last whole race.
Ross Brawn/Todd are doing nothing.
I pray that people start turning the tv off so these pricks learn lesson.

“I congratulated him and I think he drove superb all year,” Vettel said. “It was going to be one of us two, so I told him it was well deserved and to enjoy it, I told him number five is something incredible. So it was mainly congratulating him and to keep pushing for next year because I want him at his best to fight him again.”
Compared to Monaco last year where he was only 14 points behind Lewis with two wins apiece in 2019 he's got 0 wins, trails by 48 behind Mad Max and Wingman, and Mercedes has won every race.
Cliffs: No end to this sh!tshow in sight.

don't let the fact Ferrari is run by clowns strategy wise
distract you
that
Mercedes is 0.5 ahead of next rival on mickey mouse track.
This years Mercedes car can win on any track.
If you thought Ferrari 2004 car was dominant just wait till end of season.
Unless Lewis and Bottas start hitting each other they can win every race.
