    Wrestling

Hey guys. I have a question for you, but first I'll introduce myself. I am a 17 year old senior. I have been wrestling for 12 years now. I also play football, but because of a situation with the coach, I haven't seen a whole lot of playing time. Anyhow, I am a pretty decent wrestler. I placed third in the state last year at 140 and 3rd at nationals at 160 this past season. Right now, I weigh about 165 and I would guess my bodyfat is about 10 or less right now. I want to be a state champion so bad that I am willing to do anything it takes. My problem is that because of my desire, I often overtrain. I am even giving up football which I have played my whole life to focus on wrestling. Can someone devise a sample training/conditioning program for me. I am willing to give it whatever it takes. Please help me. Also, does anyone have any diet ideas for me. I'd like to cut to 145. Thanks.

I personally haven't tried this yet, but I'm thinking about trying it next summer. It looks like it will get you in good condition for the season.
But a true champion, face to face with his darkest hour, will do whatever it takes to rise above. A man fights, and fights, and then fights some more. Because surrender is death, and death is for pussies.
