That would have been an awesome receiving core Moss, Robinson, and Driver.
Having a tall receivers with speed really helps out the passing game. Those shorter DB can not cover a taller receiver. All you have to do is throw the ball up and let them jump for it. Like Culpepper used to do with Moss.
Jones and Jennings would have been good depth in the case of injury.

It is a shame that he has all this talent and he had to screw everything up.
Robinson was playing good when he was playing with Favre. It gave him a big target with speed to throw too. I would like to see Jennings back up to a 100 percent and see him pick up his game to where it was before he got injured.

He looked good in the pre-season with Aaron Rogers. He definitely would have not been given the same playing time but he would still improve with time. Look at Rodgers. He was dreadful his first two preseasons and has improved dramatically this preseason. Jones has soft hands so all he needs to work on is running routes. Driver came up slow and has evolved into a number one receiver. I think Jones could have done the same.

Rodgers definitely improved from last year. His accuracy seems to be much improved and he is more comfortable in the pocket.
Jones is the only WR I see catch the ball away from his body like that most of the time. He never drops a pass which will be a big confidence builder between him and Favre when it comes down to pressure situations. Even if he would not have been the playing time he has gotten he still would have progressed into a good reciever in the future.

Man, that defense is downright nasty.
That LB core is going to be good for many years.

I think next year they need to get someone in too challenge J. Ryan at punter he is lousy. I miss when they had Hendrick. He could pouch it inside the 20 all the time and would not shank these punts like Ryan.

Yeah the defensive is looking really good. When they blitz not to many offenses have been able to score on them. They have only given up 2 td so far this season. It gave me a scare when Harris hurt his elbow. Without Woodson or Harris in there the secondary would fall apart. There depth at CB is not very good.

Hey bignpisst. Williams looked really quick and had pretty good agility back there returning kicks. That is the first packer kick returner in a long time to have to long returns in one game. It sucked that the one got called back on a penalty.
Packers definitely need to blitz more like they did in the second half. It totally throws off the QB timing with his WR's. I noticed that they pretty totally shut down the passing game when they started blitzing. I think they need to involve it more in the first half not just rush the front four like they did against the Giants. The front four just can not get enough pass rush on there own.

They are a pretty decent team this year. With the weak NFC they are one of the top teams in the NFC. I am confused about the NFC this year with Seattle loosing to Arizona, NO going 0-2 and SF going 2-0.
Cowboys will get the bye along with?? Bears, GB?? Lions are good but they lost alot of value after that sloppy game with the vikes on Sunday."did you just say that with a lisp?" - Fitty

Yeah I noticed that to on ESPN. There defense is starting to impress a lot of people they are becoming one of the better defenses in the league. They have only given up 2 TDs so far this year. When a defense does that the offense does not need to put up high amounts of points to win a game. They just need to play good enough to put a couple TDs. I have a feeling the offense is starting to slowly improve to. Which is going to make the packers hard to beat.

When I was in the weight room, yesterday, everyone was commenting on how much coverage they were getting on ESPN. I wonder if it is because they are 2-0 or because they played the NEW YORK Giants. ESPN has a major hard-on for the Giants the drama their team loves to create. If the Packers had beaten the Vikings, I doubt they would have gotten the same coverage.

Bears are going to be the threat to the Packers for the top of the division. Week 5 Packers vs Bears is going to be a good game.
Cowboys will take there division the Redskins are not that good. I was not impressed with there playing yesterday. With the offense the Cowboys have not to many teams will be able to stop them. There defense is what will hold them back. There defense is not any better that NY defense and that is not very good.
Lions offense has always been pretty good. They always seem to pick up good WRs. There defense has always seemed to let them down in the past.

Seattle losing to Arizona really surprised me as well. Arizona has a lot of talent of offense and lost by only 3 points to SF. It looks like that division will be very tight this year. The Rams nose dive is the biggest shock of all. Now they have to go without Orlando Pace for the season.
Dallas vs. Chicago should be an interesting match-up in week 3: http://www.nfl.com/schedules#Week This could be a preview of a playoff game.
The Vikings had a good defense that is almost impossible to run against. If they had a quarterback, they would have beaten the Lions.

I am not surprised with SF they keep picking up good talent on offense. There defense has never been that bad and with the offensive talent they have they could go far this season.
Dallas vs. Chicago will definitely be an exciting game. Dallas high power offense against that good Chicago defense. That will be the test for the Dallas offense if they can move the ball against Chicago.
Those DTs of the Vikings are two of the best in the league. No one can run up the middle against them and they are quick enough to put pressure on the QB. There offense just seems to loose the game single handed for them sometimes.

I am really hoping that Arizona and/or SF makes the playoffs, get some fresh blood in there. I think the Boys/Bears game is going to be interesting.
Great O against Great D and Poor O against Poor D.
Vikings D is great against the run but out pass D has some to be desired. Offensively we SHOULD be able to run the ball to the left when ever we want.
McKinnie, Hutchingson, and Birk. If Chester Taylor gets healthy and back to his 2006 form, with Peterson we could have a top running game. Our passing game is going to be poor this entire year."did you just say that with a lisp?" - Fitty

I know what you mean it would be nice to see some new teams in the playoffs this year I get tired of seeing the same teams every year in the playoffs.
If Taylor does get up to 100 percent the Vikings will have a pretty good one-two punch at running back with Peterson. A lot of times a good running attack will open up the passing game.
