The Vikings vs. Packers is always a hard fought game especially when the Packers have to come to Minnesota to play. But I think with Favre as hot as he is passing and the defense playing the way they are the Packers should go 4-0 this weekend.

didnt play 'em, but i was really sure they were gonna cover. i dont like laying 6 points against a 2-0 home dog. i've only had 6 bets so far, indy over NO, tampa bay over NO, chargers over bears, pats over chargers, st.louis over carolina/cincinatti over browns teaser (loss) and eagles over redskins/cincinatti over browns teaser(loss). which really pissed me off, because mcabb comes back next week and scores like 45 points.

so just letting you know right now i like minnesota, san francisco, miami, and the OVER in dallas/st.louis game

Read it. Interesting article. I wonder who has the most consecutive starts for a player on defense or offense?

Yea, just regular season. Favre has 260 consecutive starts if you count playoffs, I dont know how many Marshall would have.

If Favre played one more year, that would put him at 269 (if my math is correct - not counting playoffs). Falling one short FTL.

I think Favre will play at least two more years if the team shows enough promise of getting him to a superbowl in the future. It all depends on how far the team gets in the playoffs this year.

Tillman and Vasher could be out for the Lion's game: http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=090...o&confirm=true
With the Lion's strong passing attack, this could give them a great advantage over the Bears. The Pack could really start to gain some ground on teh Bearz.

It was a toss up between B. Franks and D. Driver. I took a chance and said B. Franks. He is Favres favorite target near the end zone.

The Bears defense can not seem to stay healthy for the whole season. They always seem to rack up a bunch of injuries. With the Lions good passing attack the bears could be in for a long day without Tillman and Vasher.

Mike Brown is out for season if my memory serves me correct. That only leaves one starter in the secondary: Adam Archuleta. Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson should dominate but who knows with the Lions. They always underachieve when you expect big things from them.

Years ago I would have said Franks. He drops too many passes for me to chose him now. Driver will drop a pass or two as well. Jones seems to have the best hands by far.

Yeah the Lions are infamous for that. You think there offense is going to play good and they lay an egg. I think the Lions WR's should do pretty good against the banged up defense of the Bears on Sunday though. The Bears are not as good as they were last year.

Yeah Franks does drop to many passes when the packers need a first down catch. Jones never drops a pass. He has the best hands of any wide reciever I have seen. No other WR has been able to pluck Bretts rocket balls right out of the air just with his hands. They always usually use there body to make the catch.

Looks like Morency is finally healthy enough to play this season at running back. Hopefully he will be able to help a hurting running game. His speed will be a good addition to Wynn's power and breaking tackle ability.

    Strong, comma, usage.

I think they, will do fine. The defense, will keep them, in the game anyway.

With the Vikings offense that is struggling I think the Packers defense should be able to shut down there offense. The only threat is Peterson.

Favre is going to have a good day of passing. Because the Vikings have such a good run stopping defense packers are going to have to rely more on the pass. With Favre passing like he has been in the last couple of games that is not a bad place to have the ball is in his hands. Packers should go 4-0 today.

Jackson is questionable today with a shin injury. So I think Wynn will be starting today with Morency sharing some of the plays.
