Looking like a pretty solid squad this season, defense especially. I think if they can get the offense to open up they have a legit shot at making the playoffs. Looking at the schedule, we could conceivably win 10+ games this season, and possibly challenge the Bears for the NFC North title.

SD will be a great game. Hopefully SD will need one more week to find their offense...

Hopefully LT can't get anything going this next week, like the past 2 weeks. Although it is very bad for my fantasy team GO PACK!

As a Bears fan, I am proud of what the Packers are accomplishing.
Maybe it's just Favre, but for some reason I am hoping they are successful this year.

I just think they need to find the running game quickly!!! To me that is going to bite them here pretty soon. I hope Jackson or Morency can pick it up.

I guess that is a no.
Do you think Wynn has a shot at winning the number two back spot from Jackson in training camp? Despite not showing a lot of mental toughness last season, the Packers have stuck by Wynn. Wynn will have to be strong in pass blocking and receiving out of the backfield if he wants to compete.

No, he doesnt have a chance. If they are smart they will utilize Brandon Jackson more. Wynn has NFL talent but not NFL toughness. Until he gets tough I hope he likes special teams.

Ive been a die hard Packer fan my whole life... born and raised in WI, but going to college down in Mankato MN so all I hear about is damn Favre. First of all, Im proud that The Packers stood up for themselves and didnt give into the wishes of one over the hill QB and I know you guys over in 'sconie could give a flying **** what happens with him but what do you think is going to happen when he plays in Lambeu again? get boo'ed out of the stadium? throw 50 interceptions and not score a point? that is if he miraculasly gets to that point without getting injured.
my dream for the NFC north title would be Packers and Vikings in Lambeu, snowing hard, somewhere around 0*F, Favre playing the whole game and the final score being 21-0 Pack.

I'm not sure how the fans in Lambeau will react to him. I have no hard feelings as he gave us many great years of football in Green Bay. Some will hate him for playing for the Vikes and other are Favre fans for life. 50/50 if I had to take a guess.

I think the new Packers 3-4 defense will play well against Favre because they will bring pressure and that is when he struggles. The old 4-3 defense with no blitzing would have been shredded like cheese by #4.

I don't think the Favre Vikings jersey will sell near as well as the Favre Jets jersey.
