Okay if you've never skated a day in your life you won't think that it is tiring. But if you skate you would understand it takes more energy than running. Would this be good cardio? I am not talking about skating around your driveway I am talking around town ollieng down 4sets, grinding, doing flip tricks the works.
ps skateboarding is awesome cause it's fun so I don't want no posts about how you hate skateboarders I could care less.

I surf... but when it's flat I skate. And it's the beset cardio... there's a certain adrenaline rush u get in the extreme sports that is way better than a runners high. Don't do it for cardio even though it will help, do it for the adrenaline rush...
PS.... surfing is much better. =)The difference between "involvement" and "commitment" is like an eggs-and-ham breakfast: the chicken was "involved" - the pig was "committed".
