    healthy & easy ways to make eggs? (no oil!)

    how do you guys make your eggs and eat them without frying them up in oil...

    any ideas? I just want the nutrition of the eggs without the extra calories of the cooking oil, but I am sick of eating hard boiled... I like things that take longer to eat and warmer...

    i use enough oil to barely coat my pan...its almost negligible

    cook ur eggs how u like 'em. at 5'10'' and 155 (i know we're about the same weight) u can afford the extra oil

    one easy way to make a good omelette is put all of your ingredients in a ziplock bag and boil it...makes a perfect one everytime.


    Crack eggs right into the small Ziploc bag. Add the cheese and any option ingredients you like. Seal the bag, squish the ingredients to mix. "Burp" the air out.

    Bring a medium-sized pan of water to a heavy boil.

    Drop Ziploc baggie into the boiling water. Boil for 5 minunte.

    Carefully, remove baggie from the water. Open the bag and roll the omelette onto a plate. YUM !

    i just crack an egg into a bowl, grab a spoon and break up the yolk so that it's fairly evenly distributed, pop it in the microwave for ~45 seconds and it's good to go! i've found it doesn't taste much different and there is pretty much no cleanup compared to using a pan.

    i do it for 2 mins or so. they dont blow up really - put them in a large enough container. if yu microwave too long they will get chewy and icky. still good, but not as good!

    Wow I had no idea that using pam like I do (maybe 3 or 4 seconds of spraying) to coat the pan was killing me. That 40 calories is HUGE. Even someone like me who cuts in extreme defeceits (more than the recommended 500 calories) is not scared of pam.
