How much can you curl...?
The Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Galatians 1:7-9
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

I see guys with like 18 inch biceps only curling 80lbs and imo thats kinda strange but to each their own, they're probably just getting a really good pump with lighter weight. For some guys that works better. I know I do that too, I'll get like 60-75lbs and do around 12 slow reps with it and it gives me an awesome pump, even though my arms aren't 18 lol they still get pretty big after a few sets like that.

Why does everyone care so much?
A true bodybuilder doesn't give a **** how much he can bench, curl, squat, clean, whatever. All he cares abuot is how much he can eat whlist keeping a slim figure.
There are no OLY lifts or powerlifts that are curl oriented either.
So, unless you guys wanna start up the redneck oly lifts, stfu about how much you THINK you can curl with good form.Rice Power Log

For what it's worth...my form is perfect, regarding those weights and rep ranges. When my form starts to get ****ty, that's when I go to a lighter weight.
Your rep is horrible around here, and I just checked another thread you started where all you're doing is talking sh it.
If you don't have anything constructive to say regarding other people's posts, then don't say anything.

Took the words right out of my mouth.
JMan, Why do you care about what somebody else is doing? Why does it matter? We are all different and bodybuilding is not about how much you lift, but HOW you lift it and keeping tension on the working muscle, not herking and jerking and using assisting muscles and thinking you are showing off when nobody else in the gym is really looking or caring.
And if its so important that you have to know, I can curl 190 pound dumbbells seated with good form for 20 reps with each arm.Last edited by egoatdoor; 09-14-2007 at 07:52 PM.

curls
oh boy what an ego excercise this one can turn out to be for some. your elbows pointing down? and are you really sure? most use there body weight to get the momentum and put the elbows under the weight very decieving but a complete joke.
for your question the weight your curling is good . but i know your not actually doing it properly, and i don't even need to look at you. how does one go from 45 to 60 db curl in a couple of weeks? No one, not your spotter, not your girlfriend, not even God, should be touching the bar while you're lifting it.
