I've been sick with something for about a week now, and since I've heard it takes longer to heal when you workout, I stopped working out for now. It's really frustrating seeing myself in the mirror and knowing that I'm not getting any bigger because I can't workout because I'm sick. I think it's something like a cold, I'm not sure though. It might be something else. Does anyone know how I can get better faster? Thanks.

take extra vitamin C, drink a **** load of fluids (OJ, water, milk) and get lots of rest, if you have trouble breathing well at night then use some vix vapour rub, and use some good old listerene (however you spell it lol). Also take a medicine that will fight your symptums. Also I have tried Nin Jom, this natural cough syrup or something, really does the trick though. Also try oregano, i dunno exactly what it is, my grandpa always brings a bottle of it over when i get sick tho, another good herb is echinacea that i take when i get sick. Hope you feel better soon man.

I'm sick, too. I've had this sore throat for a while now and it's getting worse. I've been drinking more fluids, but not getting enough sleep. Sleep really helps. I've decided to stop working out until I get better. It's tough looking in the mirror and knowing that you aren't going to be working out for a couple of days.

look into homeopathic medicines, whenever I feel the onset of a cold or a flu I take something called "Oscillococcinum" (100% srs) it makes me feel great and I get over my illness faster. any other type of sickness heavier than a cold, go see your doctor
