Morning is fine. As is afternoon and night.

Around your workout would be the most likely time not to ingest.

Natty gets the slight edge as far as beeing the healthier choice. Skippy/Jiff/store brand or whatever gets the edge in taste. The difference really isn't huge, Regular usues a small amount of hydrogenated oils and adds a dash of sugar. But IMO not enought to make that much of a difference either way. I've used both for an extended amount of time.

The diff isn't enough to make you stress out about like say cooking with Vegatable oil -vs- Olive oil.

If the regular has hydrogenated oils I'd avoid it. But then again I don't eat much of anything with trans fats nowadays by choice anyway.

It depends entirely on the peanut butter. If it is natural, than 7:41:15 am, 1:21:33 pm, and 7:48:32 pm are the prime spots.

Regular, however, is probably best at 8:05:49 am, 3:32:12 pm, and 9:51:23 pm if you want the best bang for your buck.

definitely buy the natural. it's the same price, and for how much a lot of us eat of it, it would be crazy not to. the smuckers one tastes like whole peanuts, but it is a little bit more work cause you have to put it in the fridge due to oil separation. but if you get the skippy one, (natural) you don't have to put it in the fridge - i believe it's got some palm oil in it to prevent separation. they both taste better then regular IMO.

    Mucho agreed.

I've been told before that the amount of trans fat in an entire jar of regular PB is negligible, but in all honesty I think the Skippy Natural taste beats everything else out there.

In the morning and at night.

I eat peanut butter in the morning and at night. Make sure there are NO HYDROGENATE or PARTIALLY HYDROGENATES oils THOSE ARE TRANS FATS and AVOID THEM @ ALL COSTS.

Here is the peanut butter I take, you can find it at your local grocery store.

I hope this has helped you.

Just buy the regular peanut butter if you don't like the natural. Everyone making such a huge deal about the trans fat content is crazy. It's not much at all.

Besides, if everyone here was truly trying to avoid trans fat, then they'd be avoiding meats. But of course it's not the same as the hyrdogenated oils.

Oh, I also suggest almond and walnut butters. I find those to be healthier than peanut butter, though a bit more expensive.

Fat is an essential part of a healthy diet, fats should make up at least 15-20% of ur total calories. Natural peanut butter is an excellent source of healthy fats. Regular PB has a small amount of trans fatty acids, but its only like 1-2% so its not the end of the world.

3:24PM if the sky isn't too cloudy.

If there are a lot of clouds in the sky, I would wait until 6:51, then collect three crickets. Let these crickets run on a flat hard surface, and if the second cricket gets to any of the edges first don't eat the peanut butter for another 16 minutes or you might go catabolic and start storing fat like a mother.

I have recently becoem a peanut butter snob and tried every brand I felt liek trying so here are soem reviews. Keep in mind that if the label says 0 grams trans fat, technically it can have up to .49 grams per serving.

skippy/jif regular- taste is great, nutrition is poorest

skippy natural- taste is worse than regular but decent, palm oil instead of hydrogenated oils, which I don't believe to be better

smuckers natural- taste is awesome, just has salt which can be bad if you are trying to limit sodium for a shoot/contest (for the last 2 days)

smart balance omega 3- taste is bad, straight up not good at all. Nutrition is decent (still has random oils) because of the omega 3s, but I only put this in protein shakes.

Whole food store (not a brand) natural peanut butter- They grind this stuff from salt free peanuts, one of the stores lets you grind it yourself. This stuff is by far the healthiest, taste wise its just like salt less peanuts but you can't go wrong here. This gets my vote for nutrition/cost (about $2 pound bulk). It is creamy at room temp and hard in the fridge, plus no oils separate short term.

Whole food stores (not a brand) organic bulk- this is the best, taste is amazing, only organic salt free peanuts. Only problem, costs $3 a pound...

I would go with ground bulk peanut butter if you can afford it and like the taste. There is no processing involved and you know exactly what you get. I feel like I've gotten noticeably leaner since i switched from eating a crapload of skippy and other naturals to the bulk peanut butter on a cut. try it out!
