I don't brag about how much weight I push, I'm actually very modest about it and will sidestep the question a bit. Too me, the amount of weight you move in the gym is nowhere near as important as the effort you put into it. Someone who's working their ass off lifting what could be laughable weight is given far more respect in my eyes than guys who lift heavy but have no respect for themselves, the equipment, others, et cetera, and just don't seem to have a love for what they do.
For me, personally, the results I see physically in my body are far more satisfying and speak volumes more about my efforts in the gym. Also, most people usually don't care or even have a frame of reference to make a conversation about the weight you push interesting. ;-)"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." -Niebuhr

i dont ever brag but for some reason my workout partner brags about me all the time and it makes me uncomfortable cuz it puts me in the spotlight and stuff. and its gay cuz whenever someone finds out how much i lift they dont believe me. they will be like "damn dude, you are big! how much you bench?" and ill be like "i was repping 255 until i hurt my wrists so now i do like 235 or so" and they will be like "no way dude you are a liar" and im just thinking whatever dude believe what you want. i dont need to brag to get felt up by my friends (that are girls) haha. massages are sweet.
