Best quality amino acids?
What are the best quality amino acids? I'd like to take an amino acid supplement, that has more to it than yust valine, leucine, isoleucine. I read that the process of making them determines their quality. So what's the most potent supp. out there?
I hope i was clear enough, what i'm looking for.
thanks

I would just megadose leucine, along with a whey protein shake.

Why take only leucine? I was initially looking for a complete amino acid profile supp. And i'm a bit worried to take that large doses of leucine.

If you're looking for amino acids you gotta look at the essential aminos. The latest research over the past few years has shown the tremendous value of EAAs. I usually supplement with EAAs pre-workout and then continue to sip an essential amino acids mix throughout my workout. I can definitely feel the difference in overall recovery and performance with this mixture. There are several studies which show the benefit of taking essential amino acids. Here's a few I know of off hand:

Because of the effects of leucine intake and because if those are the effects you are looking for it's cheaper to buy bulk leucine than to buy another product that contains other aminos. It's a question of cost efficiency.
A complete amino acid profile supp? How about ANY kind of protein product? ALL of them contain all amino acids, so do all kinds of meat and fish.
Why would you worry about overdosing leucine?

Rolling Along
Essential amino acids (EAAs). Studies show following training, nonessential amino acids (NEAAs) aren't required. There aren't that many free form EAA products around as far as I know--Animal Nitro, Animal Nitro G, Vendetta are ones that come to mind.

i'd like to have a product, that has all the aminos yust like whey but in a more concentrated form. I mean you'd need to take too much whey to get a decent amount of amino acids out of it.

In a more concentrated form? There's 93% protein in my whey, that is 47g of aminos per 50g serving.

My bad, i'm a real fool for this one.
But than, does it make sense to take other amino acid supps like the BCAA's? Since they state to take only few and not 40g like it was said in the linked topic.
