German volume training is a training method created by the germans (i think) it is basically 10 sets of 10 reps per muscle group on a compound movement, and then 3 sets of 10 - 12 reps on an isolated movement for the same muscle group. For example here is the routine i used...
Day 1 - Chest & Back
Decline Db Press - 10X10
Wide Grip Pull Ups - 10X10
Db Flys - 3X10
Low Rows - 3X10
Day 2 - Legs & Abs
Back Squats - 10X10
Ham Curls - 10X10
Ab Crunches (weighted) - 3X10
Calf Raises - 3X10
Day 3 - Off
Day 4 - Arms and shulders
Dips - 10X10
Hammer Curls - 10X10
Side Lats supersetted with bent over lats - 3X10-12

Nice....
I use a similar workout... just geared a little diferent.
Monday: Chest/Triceps
Flat Bench 3*5
Incline Bench 3*6-8
Dumbell decline bench 2*8
Dips 3*6-10(add weight if necessary)
Skullcrushers 2*8-10
Tuesday: Back/Biceps
Chinups 3 * 6-10 assisted if need be,someone can hold ure feet
Wide Grip Lat pulldown to front 2 *8-10
One arm dumbell row 3*6-8
Barbell curls 3*4-6
Alternating DB curl 3*8-10
Thursday: Legs
Squats 3 * 8-10
Leg press 3*8-10
Leg Curls 3*8-10
standing calf raise 3*8-10
Friday: Shoulders/Traps
Militairy press 3*4-6
One arm dumbell press 2*8-10
Side Laterals 2 * 10 - 12
Rear Laterals 2* 10 - 12
DB Shrugs 3 * 15
Somtimes I stray, and work diferent... but thats it... same mucles, diffrent workouts... lower reps to higher reps.... I have seen GREAT lifting improovmet... but not a lot of mass....
you have a nice base... low BF..... you metabolism is awsome... I would bulk like crzy... get you one of those calorie shakes... you would look really pimp if you were a little bigger...
just a thought..

Hey bro,
hehe kind of long story. I started bodybuilding at about 12 yeard ols because i used to get picked on at school. I thnk i weighed about 55lbs at the time. I worked out with heavy weights (heavy for me at the time) for about 12 weeks, following a program created by antony ellis (I think).
After this 12 week period i stopped and moved over to athletics (track and field). I then decided to stop that and have been bodybuilding for about 8months or so seriously i think.
THanks for your comments

Nice Work
Very solid physique. As an ectomorph, I can relate to the difficulties with adding mass, but you seem to be doing a superb job. Keep up the great work, I'm looking forward to seeing much more improvement in the future!!

Hey bro,
I am glad you are considering following my progress. I get exteremely motivated by members when i know they are watching hehe . I have gained quite alot of mass the past few weeks. I have deffinetaly broken through a plateu and hope to gain some nice mass on my arms. When my arms are pumped up they look alot bigger than cold. But unfortunately i cannot take any pics pumped up
Pumped up stats are as follows -
Chest - 44.5"
Arms - 14.3"
Waist - 29.2
Upper Legs - 24.5
Calves - 14.6
I dont know why but my body looks really big when i get pumped up. but i find it hard to bring out a large amount of definition.
Oh well
Thanks for the comments

Hey Guys,
Thanks alot for the critique.
I think my body fat% is somewhere in the 7.5 range at the moment. My abs are very ripped when i flex them and they were not before (at 8.8% bodyfat). I will probably be getting it tested next week around wednesday.
See you later

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the further comments
Yeah my frame is really small. I wouldnt say my waist was small. It is at about 28.X at the moment and my waist has always been around 25 - 26.
Thanks again for the compliments

Hey bro,
Yeah i know. My chest is pretty big for my size. My arms are pretty ****ing small too hehe. I am working them as hard as i can. My arms actually look pretty huge when pumped up (they come in at around 14.3 ripped), but my chest looks even bigger at about 45" when it is pumped. My legs, back and chest are pretty good IMO, but my arms and shoulders, are really bad.
My abdominals arent too good either, but i would rather add bulk than train burn calories training them alot like everyone else
Thanks alot for the critique

Hey bro,
Hehe. I have done this before (or something to the same effect) - NOT GOOD! Blood squirts out and it wont stop lol. it doesnt hurt, but it is pretty scary (sp). Cool as hell too lol.
See you later
Nameless
PS - I have pretty nice veins on my quads now too!, my chest and shoulders are drenched with veins also. I cannot seem to get any on my back though. I dont think they are supposed to be there anyway. They only come out on my chest when its warm too lol
