Unless you are going on like a 6 week vacation, there really is nothing to worry about. The mathematics of calories in vs. calories out tell me that you would have to eat thousands and thousands of extra calories daily, and burn off none of it. If you gain much weight, it will almost certainly be made up mostly of water weight, which isn't a big deal. How long are you going, one or two weeks? Great, have fun. Try to keep it within moderation, but if you go wild here and there, don't even worry about it. I'd recommend trying to get some exercise if at all possible. It can be as simple as an evening walk after dinner or something. Have fun, and be just be ready to get back into it when you get home.

Bring some homemade protein bars and maybe a tupperware full of whey + a shaker bottle. Otherwise, just have fun. When you go out to eat try to eat healthy, but if you have a cheat meal or two...hey it's vacation. Relax and show off those muscles to the girls on the beach

otherwise, just eat clean. if your worried about your diet, you obviously already know healthy eating guidelines. it also depends on what kind of vacation your goin on. if your at a hotel for a week or so, theres bound to be a grocery store around the area. go there.http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/PublicJournals.html?Owner=kevdoggincy

dude
dude dont worry
i went on vacation last year to europe with a bunch of my friends.
we were in dublin ireland on st patricks day and let me tell you practically the only liquids i had while i was there was guinness and orange juice(not togather dumass) and my meals were huge ass european ones with lots of white breads and such and all my other meals were FISH and CHIPS damn near the best food ever loaded with tons of malt vinegar. I was cutting before i left and i was at 210 and when i returned iw as at 205. I actually lost weight in 10 days. (we did a ****load of walking though) probably at least 5-8 miles a day. But that doesnt justify how much i ate. So dude its vacation eat ure ass up and hit the weights when you get back.. Just stay active while you are on vacation and you will be fine.

Few more tips: Since you are bound to eat at a lot of restaurants, if you choose to go the healthy route you can always order a salad with some grilled chicken or salmon. Just make sure to avoid croutons and ask for the dressing on the side. I prefer just to use oil and vinegar sparingly. for my dressing.
Also, if you get a nice piece of meat, steak, etc ask them to prepare it with out any oil or butter. Same goes with a side of veggies....ask them to steam it and to not put any butter, etc on them.
But, have a cheat meal if you wish. Like the others said, you are on vacation so have fun and enjoy yourself. Dont let food get in your way of having a good time.My Training Journal...

It kinda depends where you are vacationing though. I went to Mexico for 7 days this spring break and came back with a couple lbs of pure gut. It didnt help that I was eating the enchiladas made with lard covered in cheese and drinking beer all day instead of eating carne asada and fajitas, but **** it was vacation and once your back to eating lean at home those lbs will disappear faster than ever. Have a blast!
