Lean Xtreme 2.0: THE FAQ
Lean Xtreme? FAQ
Q. Does Lean Xtreme? need to be cycled?
A. No, but like all supplements, we recommend you cycle in and out of use to maintain enzyme responsiveness and for general economical reasoning.
Q. What is the recommended dosing for Lean Xtreme??
A. One capsule 2-4 times per day. Start low to assess tolerance.
Q. What is a good protocol for Lean Xtreme??
A. Dosing will vary among individuals, so the following is a basic 3 caps per day layout:
? 1 cap upon waking
? 1 cap before training
? 1 cap before bed
Those who wish to bump dosing to 4 caps per day can space the four doses out evenly over the course of a day.
Q. Can I double dose the product?
A. We don't recommend it. Why? Because you won't need that much. It is that good.
Q. How long can I use it for?
A. We recommend four week cycles, but extended courses are likely managable by more experienced lifters/athletes.
Q. Will Lean Xtreme? lose effectiveness over time?
A. There is nothing to suggest this to be the case. But longer cycles are certainly more likely to induce adaptation and loss of efficacy.
Q. Can I stack it with creatine?
A. Yep. As well as pretty much anything in the DS lineup or the lineups of many other fine companies. The versatility of Lean Xtreme is one of its MANY highlights.
Q. Does it matter if taken with or without food?
A. No.
Q. Does Lean Xtreme? help you gain strength?
A. The effect of the forskolin may very well assist with strength gains, but there?s no guarantee. Lean Xtreme? is first a foremost a body recompositioning tool.
Q. Do you think Lean Xtreme? would be strong enough to retain muscle while cutting?
A. Providing your diet is solid and your training not excessive, certainly.
Q. Do I need to taper Lean Xtreme? down at the end of the cycle?
A. It is not necessary, no. If it makes you feel better, however, you can taper down.
Q. I?m bulking. What benefit does Lean Xtreme? have to offer? And what dosing protocol is relevant for me in this situation?
A. As I?m sure you?ve already read the write-up available on the website, we?ll reiterate the benefits as cortisol control (and thus, muscle retention) and reduction is unwanted fat gain, given a well regulated diet. Normally during the bulking environment, cortisol is not considered an issue due to the net anabolic effect, however it can still be considered as a two steps forward, one step back approach. Making use of Lean Xtreme? during bulking phases removes the one step back, allowing you progress at an accelerated rate.
Q. I've heard LX can affect your thyroid. How does it do this?
A. Indirectly, through cortisol suppression, 7-OH can help re-establish typical levels of thyroid output. In addition, the inclusion of forskolin appears to help promote thyroid output.
Q. Can women use Lean Xtreme??
A. There are anti-estrogenic properties of 7-OH that can effect menstrual cycles and birth control, so it?s a good idea for sexually-active women to use condoms.
Other than that, it is cool.
Q. I have a medical condition, is it ok for me to use Lean Xtreme??
A. Always check with your GP/physician before using the product.

i believe emisgod is on track here. as we know with the original LX too high a dose could lead to joint pain, at that point obviously you are taking too much for yourself. this same concept applies to the new version, essentially if you start feeling joint pain, back the dosage down.

you remember that very old thread a while back? There's a few studies with 7-keto transdermal (which would convert to 7-oh alpha and beta) that it increased LH levels but [i]decreased[i] testosterone levels, for an extended period of time. I'll try and pull up the study. DS was involved with the thread...i believe it might have been deleted...i remember it all started with Lurker 501 or something starting a feud... Nevertheless he brought up a good study.
The increase in LH with a decrease in test seems strange.

Decereased SHBG very well may lead to elevated free test (see ActivaTe Xtreme.) An elevation of free test would indeed cause feedback at the pituitary causing decrease in total test. Additionally, the "suppression" was not clinically significant, and the study is n=21, which is a joke.

Thanks. I didn't mean to come off as intrusive or whatever, I just wanted to see what your input on it was.
Kinda O/T but do you like PB fudge better than Vanilla Almond sustain bars? I just went through almost 4 boxes of the pb fudge (one a day for in between lecture classes) but now i'm probably getting 2 of each. I've had some of the Vanilla almond but probably not enough to really say either way on it. (my brother likes the vanilla, so that was his box hehe)

Just a quick question. Since this indirectly affects the thyroid, would it be ok to use w/ something like thyrotabs?

Deserusan will be doing just that.
Actually, I'd follow Thyrotabs with LX2.0, or add in LX2.0 during the last few days of a TT cycle.

You're familiar with your own products?
They should stack well, IMO.

what do you guys think about using Lxtreme as part of PCT for a simple 11oxo cycle?
I know certain users have complained of cotrisol rebound following an 11oxo cycle, so I figure this may play a PERFECT role in slowly getting the body back to normal, yet still reduce the effects of rebound/stop it entirely.
I will be running Activate Xtreme(4/day...wish I had enough to run 6-8/day), along with 11oxo @ 10/day.
Lean Xtreme 2.0 would be fun to play with in PCT to see if my waist goes back to normal size as quickly as other 11oxo users/if it slowed the process down/if it stops this process completely.
