Hey guys,
I would like to put on more muscle / strength, but I can't seem to find any ladies on the womens' forum who use creatine or Kre-Alkalyn.
I read on the supplement forums that a lot of the guys like Kre-Alkalyn a lot, (in fact they go crazy about the stuff!) Are there any women here who have used Kre-Alkalyn?
And if so, what was your experience on it?
Any feedback would be helpful.

I don't think there are that many women using creatine cause I posted asking questions and only got a couple of responses. I use TRAC on the recommendation of someone else, and I see a difference, but more in the fact that I have less muscle soreness (which is the reason I started on it) and also I get less tired and have more stamina during a workout. I guess that would lead to greater gains. It has only been a couple of weeks for me, and I also have been pretty sick so I haven't used it in about 1-1/2 weeks. I used creatine when it first came out and had a lot of problems with bloating, but so far I don't have any gastro problems. I did have to practically eliminate most dairy from my diet cause after I would eat some my stomach got really upset. I didn't have any more problems after cutting back drastically on dairy.

I use HP CEE...and love it. My workouts are alot more productive. W/CEE you won't get the stomach pains or water retention. For women you should only take 2.5 grams a day and I take mine before my workouts. I've only been on it for 2 weeks but I'm already seeing a difference. For example on my EZ Curl i used to do 25 lbs 8-12 reps 3 sets. And now I'm up to 40 lbs 8 reps 3 sets. Hope I helped ya out :-)

no creatine for me!
I guess it just depends on the person, because I don't use creatine at all, or anything else besides vitamins and whey protein, and on biceps I am up to a 65 pound ez curl bar, 2 sets for 6-8 reps. this is after my warm up with the 40 pound ez curl (2 sets of 20 reps) and a set or two with the 50 or 55 pound ez curl bar. so it just depends on the individual...

Hey Sharon....HP CEE is Higher Power Creatine Ethyl Ester. Its really cheap but tastes like crap.
I take 5 grams glutamine 2.5 grams of CEE w/gatorade before my workout. The gatorade I think really helps mask the horrible taste.
And after the workout I have Opt Nutri whey w/5 grams glutamine.
I take a multi vitamin, 400 IU Vitamin E, Glucosamine Chondroiton and Fish Oil. And before I go to bed I have protein shake w/glutamine. It really helps me w/recovery. I'm hypoglycemic so the glutamine helps stabalize my blood sugar so thats why I take so much of it. And she is right...it all depends on the person w/supplements you just have to try stuff out to see if it works for you. Some people say that glutamine does nothing for them w/recovery but it has helped me out alot. So good luck to you.

I'm taking creatine, however can't comment too much on it yet, as I'm only just into my second week. I was told to take only a creatine monohydrate, to avoid getting overly bloated.

I guess I have bad genes!
Well, I am sure it's true that it depends on the individual...
But, being a vegetarian, I probably get no or very little creatine because creatine is found in meat. I ordered my bottle of kre-alkalyn and hope to experiment a little with it to see if it helps.
And thanks for the response, Debbie! And thanks to everyone else!

I cycled through one session of creatine back in Feb - I had amazing gains in both strength (amazed at how much i can bench now!) and muscles grew! It is really important to drink lots of water though with it because its not great on your kidneys otherwise. I have now started taking kre-alkalyn after hearing about the boys raving on about it - will let you know how i get on!
