i didn't even know there was such thing as hemp protein. is there a difference between the hemp protein and the regular protein?

ive heard of it but never tried it. I imagine it would compare to soy protein a lot better than whey because soy is also a plant protein. It would probably good for protein intake variation throughout the day but I wouldn't use it post workout. Nothing replaces whey for that.

i saw a bottle of hemp oil at a nutrition store....it said it had more efa's than flax seed

it is supposed to be good stuff with extra nutrients that arent in your conventional protein. it would be a hard protein to get enough of by iteself so would be good in a blend.
