GREAT IDEA!!! I will work on that now
The Lean Mass diet is geared towards making mass gains while limiting fat gain while the Cut Diet Lean Mass program is geared to KEEPING YOU AS LEAN AS POSSIBLE while slowly adding lean mass.

REPS to the Scivation crew for never ceasing to amaze me.
Always putting out the good stuff!!!
However i have to bug you guys a little more with a few questions
1: when you outline the sample menus for the various thresholds for the cut diet lean mass, do these already include the larger refeed or do we always have to pick the refeed from the higher threshold?
For example, being an endomorph i calculated my cals at around 2000(62kg x 32) so from what i understood i should follow the 2000cals plan and substitute its carb meal for the one belonging to the 2500 plan, right?
2: would it be a good idea to cycle cals between on and off days, as in would it be a good idea to follow the 2000 cals plan on WO days and 1800 plan on OFF days or do you think that this could result in overkill or even hinder proggress, considering that we are striving to pack some lean mass?
3: since classes will be starting again soon i was wondering what your opinion would be in regards to the cut diet and mental performance while studying such as focus and memory.
Thanks for this awesome help guys and sorry for all the questions.
This is what makes a great company!

Yes, that will work perfect!
Bulks are different in that you kinda can go by feel. If you're not gaining, raise calories. If you are gaining too fast, lower them.

This is the reason for the HIGHER refeeds. Calories remain constant and we pop in a nice carb meal and perhaps a cheat here and there.

I seem to operate just fine, Scivation has yet to go bankrupt and I used this to gain about 10lb lean mass last year.

Would it be possible to make this diet work well with a night-shift job in which I am fairly physical? (we unload boxes, restock shelves, clean, etc)
thanks

Yeah, you might need bigger carb meals and such, but I think it could work.
If not, LEAN MASS DIET IT BABY!

Caloric intake levels for Meso On cut diet lean!!
So this is westup...last year i got down to ~4%bf on the cut diet without too much of a hastle. I started screwing around with the bulking for mesos protocol and it feels great to swell up so quickly with carbs. In spite of that euphoria i will convert into a fat ass sea donkey with a quickness on consistently high carb intake. I read and reread the caloric intake recomendations in the Cut Diet lean pdf and cannot figure out my cals. Venom hyperdrive has raped my cognitive abilities.190bs@9%. Additionaly, can the lifestyle version be employed for mass with minimal likelihood of fat regain? Can the caloric estimate chart in the lean mass diet be used for a determining a starting point on the cut diet lean mass diet? 2sabes?

I skimmed through this diet and it looks similar, if not identical, to the Cut Diet. So this diet is to gain LBM while keeping fat at base but are there other inconspicuous differences between the two? I noticed that we can substitute raisins for grapefruit for our refeeds now.

Look at the calorie chart. There is your answer. In fact, skimming it is the problem--please read the entire book.
One is to gain lean mass and one is to get insanely cut.

we could sub raisins for grapefruit before...read the whole thing. The food sources of course are going to be similar...due to it using the CUT DIET properties to gain lean body mass as well.

Caloric determination for ectomeso
Perhaps I didnt unequivocally express that I cant deduce the method for determining cal intake for a ecto meso from the example of the 180lb endo. I'm currently 190lbs@9%bf...I went for broke and started the cut diet 3000+the 3500 carb load. I feel swole. Where was i supposed to start? Thanks.

Got a few questions regarding cardio on the lean mass cut diet,
1 - considering that i am coming from the cut diet and was doing cardio 7 days per week should i reduce the cardio first before starting to up my cals?
2 - should i still do cardio on OFF days considering that i do it for about 35 minutes on WO days?

I would have started lower and worked my way up. Back down if you gain too fast.

Reduce cardio and raise calories slightly. Get cardio back down to around 30 minutes on training days only.

If you really want to, but IMO, training days are sufficient enough.

I am looking to basically transform my body
5'9 190ish About 25% BF.
I am fairly strong and have a good base. I would like leaner, toned muscles and obviously much lower body fat. i do not really want to get "bigger".
Which diet is best for that the Cut diet or Cut Diet Lean Mass diet?
Thanks in advance!

Cut Diet for sure. Lean Mass Diet is really for getting bigger. Cut Diet is to get you extremely cut.

Thanx for the reply. I am actually now looking at the lifestyle cut diet and this seems probably more suited to my eating habits as I tend to 'cheat' on weekends. Do you think this diet could give me similar results?
I am getting confused by all these diets..lol!

yes, this way you can have ONE cheat MEAL on the weekends, not cheating the whole weekend.
but you can get very good results from the lifestyle cut diet.

the lifestyle diet was written before substance was discontinued. If you have substance or another wpi you want to mix with xtend, you can...but with everything else set in place...vasocharge/primal eaa...then xtend is fine by itself. Even if you don't have the pre workout stack...xtend alone would also be fine.

I'm kind of new to this forum so I'm not sure if you've posted this before, but how long have you been utilizing this type of method?
I got some bad advice and I just bulked up waay to quickly to the tune of 9 lbs. in one week and put on to much bodyfat and now am considering switching over to this diet because I don't want to stop bulking after only a month because there are obvious things I need to work on (like my arms). So, I'm kind of hoping that this will drop some BF while still helping me gain some extra lbs. Possible?

Over the long term, certainly.
I am currently following the cut diet, not the cut diet lean mass bare in mind. I'm slightly above maintenance at 2500 calories, I am getting leaner, looking a little bigger yet have only lost about 1.75lb since starting, so go figure.
