So I'm looking at Halodrol Liguigels...

...And I'm looking at the ingredient profile, which includes Arachadonic acid, 6oxo, DHEA, and 3,4 divanilltetrahydrofuran. So I did a little math on the effective doses of each ingredient, based on each component found in X-factor, 6oxo, and Activate. I'm skipping the DHEA for purposes of this analysis.

So here's the breakdown:

250 mg Arachadonic acid
300 mg 6oxo
400 mg 3,4 divanilltetrahydrofuran
--------
950 mg Total

Compare this to HLG providing 480mg of a proprietary blend; about half the above total.

I understand there is some degree of synergy between the ingredients as well as the addition of DHEA to consider, but do the HLGs provide effective doses considering the above math doesn't add up?

I want to go out of my way here to say this isn't a snip at Gaspari, but rather an honest question/concern from a potential customer. I'm hoping to gain a bit of insight and an understanding of how the effective doses were calculated (understanding that there's an interest in keeping a proprietary formula just that).

You are supposed to take three gels a day.

Now that you mention it....If HLG contains 60 caps per package then what is up with this?

Directions: Take 1 gelcap daily. After 6 weeks of continual use, a 30 day cessation period is recommended. Users of this product should consume at least 64 ounces of water per day. Do not exceed suggested daily dose

its 480mg per cap and the directions say to take 3 gelcaps daily
so 480mg x 3 = 1.440g

Are you asking because you are truly interested? Think about it.... To answer your question, you need two boxes for a full cycle. Anything else?

Yep, that makes prefect sense. What threw me for a loop is that bb.com has this on the product:
