    vegasDSM's cut loggggggggg

    well... i've been lifting heavy for a couple months now (had a torn oblique so i had 100 days off)....

    i weighed 245 2 weeks ago and started to keep a keen eye on what i've been eating....

    today i weigh 235 and my goal is to weigh 210 by 10/29, my 28th birthday...

    i have started to track my calorie consumption...

    tuesday was 2100 cals
    wednesday was 2300 cals

    so far today, i've had ~1000 cals and will workout and eat my pwo, dinner, and have my snack and protein drink prior to bedtime (another 2-2400 cal day)..

    im confident that i have around 175-185lbs of lean body mass currently...

    diet is consisting of:

    7am. vitamins, 1 serving of oatmeal, glasss of milk (flax and fish oil)

    1130am. 1 chicken breast, small salad, fat free, low sugar salad dressing

    230pm. handful of peanuts or 2 matzos

    5pm workout
    WO drink included 10g's of BCAAs (thank you scivation xtend)

    PWO drink is cell tech (2for1 roped me in) 1/2 serving, 10g's BCAAs

    ~7pm dinner: 2 turkey burgers, or 8oz steak, or can of tuna with 3 whole harboiled eggs

    ~9pm snack: if didnt eat eggs for dinner i'll eat 1 or 2 here, if i did eat eggs for dinner, i'll have an apple or a grapefruit

    ~10/1030pm pre-bed protein shake (70g protein, 360cals) (flax and fish oil)

    mid-sleep, 10g BCAA's (usually taken between 1am and 3am)

    edit: i have taken all alcohol consumption out... it will suck, and i will get pissed off... once every 60 days as a cheat, imo.....

    ate 2030 cals yesterday.... lifted shoulders and traps... did 15 min on th elliptical....woke weighing in at 233......

    this weekend will be tough...

    weekend and yesterday was rough...

    went from 233 to 235 and this morning weighed 236.....

    being an endomorph stinks, imo.... i can gain 3lbs from eatin 1 chicken breast for lunch (and drinking 2 glasses of water)....

    still doing cardio (did 30 min and a core workout last night after the cincy/baltimore game)...

    tonight is chest/bis and i'll do another 30 min of light cardio (as i dont want to mess up my leg/squat day which is tomorrow)

    woke up at 233.. only had 1760 cals yesterday...

    today, at 330pm, i'm at just under 800 cals and i'm hungry, lol...

    i'll be eating an apple 30 min prior to lifting at 5 and finish the night with 8 0z of steak, 3 hard boiled egg whites, and a cup of steamed brocolli...

    also have my protein shake b4 bed and BCAA's through the night...

    today, i woke up weighing in at 230...

    my workout yesterday was great, however the muscle(s) i worked (shoulders), after the workout were really sore, like someone had been hitting me in the shoulder for a minute straight...

    took some extra vitamin C and some inflammatory (alleve) to help...

    it's 9am and im only in for 200cals so far (plus vitamins)...

    the weekend will be tough, i will be doing my best to maintain 230 as i usually put on a couple pounds over the weekend (keeping mydiet the same)...

    monday.... the worst day of the week...

    woke up and weighed in at 235 w/clothes on (prolly 233 w/out)...

    focused on diet all weekend, no drinking, light carbs (had a hot dog bun @ the bar w/2 dogs)....

    hoping to be around 228 before the end of the week...

    didnt lift, went for a run after the football game..

    woke up this morning weighin 233 w/clothes....

    wed... woke up at 231 w/clothes on....

    workouts havent been hindered at all (strength is still gaining)...

    im supplementing hard with a lot of scivation xtend (BCAA's) as well as ON whey (3-5 servings/scoops per day)...

    yesterday i lifted chest/bis and at the end of my routine i was able to do several 1-arm pushups (on both arms), which i have never been able to do (or even try)

    today i woke up at 231 w/clothes on (friday)...

    yesterday, two outta the 10 or so trainers @ my gym actually walked up to me and told me that i "look good" and asked "how much have you lost?"

    (talk about motivation, lol)

    i have thought about it and i will start weighing myself less often as it gets to me when i go up/down throughout the day and day-to-day....

    still eating 2000 kcals/day... low carbs, high protein, low fat (most coming from flax and fish oil)

    did the weekend w/no drinking until the bears started to get their asses handed to them...

    about 6 or so jack n diets later, i was all smiles...

    i cant beleive that i lost weight over the weekend... i usually stay the same or gain a pound due to getting extra sleep..

    im stoked for sure...!!!!

    should be @~225 by the end of the week...

    Wednesday... woke up at 227 w/clothes on.... didnt lift yesterday, was really tired. I was going to go on a walk after work but ended up taking a nap, wakin gup, cooking dinner, and then going to bed early..

    havent posted in a week... wed 10/3.....

    woke up at 229 w/clothes on.... all clothes are getting to the point where they arent fitting properly (i.e. shorts are falling off, shirts look like they are a size too big, etc.)

    having difficulty dropping weight, strength is staying up (and gaining)....

    i dont want to cut my caloric intake any more than what i have already done (only 2000-2400/day).....

    still @ it.... weighed in @ 228 this morning, w/clothes on..

    strength is still gaining, looking better in the mirror, clothes are looser, but the weight isnt coming off as i'd like it to...

    anyways...i picked up some xenadrine to help with the fat loss....

    taking 2 in the a.m. and 1 at lunch... i will up my lunch dosage to 2 after a couple days...

    havent taken a stimulant in a long time..... get's me all "crackhead" feelin.....

    cheers as it's friday... stephen marley is playin @ the hard rock casino (pool)... should be a good show, and i'll get some cardio dancin to the reggae beats....

    was in california for an expo/seminar the past week... ended up finding a gym and lifting there... ate like a champ (chicken/brocolli/walnuts/etc) when i could... had some cheat meals as the hotel food and resturaunts didnt cater to the "healthy." even went to the grocery store and picked up a pound of turkey and a 1/2 gallon of milk for my hotel room...

    today i woke up at 223 w/clothes on... still loosin weight... lifts are stronger... the gals @ the front desk @ my gym have started to hit on me (lol)..... they now know me by my first name and i havent introduced myself... i get a "hi sean" and a "bye sean" from them....

    the PT's (trainers) are saying "watup big man" "lookin good" and the cardio bunnies run in fear and get outta my way....

    p.s. so far (since i started lifting) i've gone from 266 to 223... all my lifts have increased tremendously and i'm the strongest i've ever been!!!

    i will start to do some plyo's as i didnt want to do them weighing more than 230..... (prolly wait until i'm 220)

    been 2 weeks since i posted up... ben really sick (got a bug out in cali)..

    weighing in right at 223..... halloween, my b-day, lots of parties (and beer) has really hurt my recovery from being sick....

    i've had swings of over 4lbs in one day.... gotta love bein an endomorph...

    i was up to 227, and ate a lot of BBQ chicken and steak (prolly 2-2500 cals worth)... next mornin i weighed in @224 (lol).

    lifts are still improving as well as my stamina......

    my freekin ipod busted (actually, it ran outta batteries abotu 10 minutes into my routine and i chucked it across the gym) now it wont work and apple's site doesnt help me fer **** (tried all their support ideas)...

    guess i gotta buy a new one....

    being forced to listen to the music @ the gym sucks.... have finally talked to guys who lift@ the same time as me though......

    yes.... im still here... wish i could update more often...

    havent been lifting as often as i'd like to.... lots of conventions in town and i have to work them (yes, standing on my feet for 10+hours/day)....

    im weighin in @ 220.... gunna wait til i get down to 218 to update my bodyspace..

    should be there by the end of the week....

    diet is still in check... was madd hungry at 4am on sat night/sun mornin so i ate del taco... first time eatin fast food in overe 8 months......

    french fries tasted soooooo good..... lolz....

    anyways... still @ it... gunna be gettin back into it (low carb, high protein) even more-so than i have been.... i'd like to be closer to 200 by xmas.....

    been @ 218 for 3 days now (up and down 1.5lbs depending on the time of the day, etc.)

    been eatin more carbs lately (thanksgiving leftovers will do that to ya) and my muscles look a lot "fuller"....

    starting to see some oblique and serratus during my stretching.....

    cant wait to hit 200....

    also.. starting supplementing with fish oil again.. i stopped due to some other supps i was taking which blocked fat absorption (would have been a waste to take fat supps while i was on it)... been off the other for ~2 weeks now so i'm taking 10-15g's of fish oil and 3-5g's of flax per day (throughout the day)...

    regularly taking my protein shake(s)... 2 scoops in the a.m. and 2 scoops before bed.....

    sleep has been screwy as my schedule/routing is as follows....

    shakes are 2 scoops of ON whey (~44g protein per)

    wakeup 630am
    2 scoop shake 7am
    vitamins (w/shake)
    snack 10am (1 matza, hand full of peanuts or sunflower seeds)
    lunch 1130 (1 chicken breast, maybe some rice depending on day) more vitamins/fat supps
    snack 2pm (fruit/matza, more peanuts)
    get off work 4pm
    gym 5pm
    dinner 7pm (10-15 oz of meat (steak, lean/turkey burger/fish) and green veggies) more vitamins/fat supps
    snack 930pm (3-8 eggs (1/3 being yolks) depending on how hungry i am)
    bedtime shake 10pm (maybe later)

    through the night, or sometime while im sleepin, i get up and pee... i'll have a water bottle with 3-4 scoops of scivation's Xtend to sip on (great BCAA's)

    month and a half later... right @ 215.....

    real lean though.... loosin a lot of fat and keeping muscle (and adding it)...

    had to go from xl shirts to large cuz i look hella funny in my xl's.....

    liftin 6 days/wk
    mon: chest/tri
    tue: squat/legs
    wed: core/aux (usually 4 sets of bicep work and a bunch of burnout work on my calves)
    thur: deltoids (maybe traps)
    fri: rest
    sat: back (maybe traps... if i didnt do em on thur)
    sun: core/aux....

    gettin a lot of comments from people who havent seen me in awhile...

    i am down 54 total pounds since i started going back to the gym (since 12/06) and i'm stronger than i've ever been....

    figured i would update the cut logg/thread.... havent been online in over a week... workin 2 jobs now and lifting regularly is a real drain on my time..
