Pre & Post workout nutrition
I started taking Superpump250 as a pre-workout shake, about 45 mins. prior to starting. Immediately after, as a post workout shake, taking Optimum 100% whey w/water. Is this a good combination?

Do you have a pre-workout meal? The SP isn't considered pre-workout nutrition, it's a NO/energy booster.

yea you want to have a good carb meal less than three hours before workout and no sooner than an hour i also have a scoop of whey and two teaspoons of creatine in milk pre workout for some bcaa's during the workout then the same at the end plus another glass of milk then i go home and eat another carb meal like 45 min to an hour pwo brown rice tomato broccolli onion and chicken breast. I suggest milk pre and post if you can stomach it on leg days i get close to throwing up but have held it thus far. Check out the pre post w/o nutrition sticky good stuff

2 tsp of creatine is approximately 10g - TOO MUCH!!
A good whole food meal is best, yes.

i would slug about 1 cup of oats with that shake pre-workout
or at least get some brown rice or WW bread along with that shake.. carbs are vital pre-workout and need the fuel to energize ur workout bro
def take that into consideration
and where are the carbs in the drink? maybe have some oats and a banana.. or some simple sugars like honey in that PWO shake maybe add a dash of cinnamon for taste!

The studies on creatine were done using 5g per 200 lbs. That leads me to believe that 1g per 40 lbs is optimal. You can only absorb so much - more is not better. What you don't absorb will be wasted and can cause subcutaneous rather than intermuscular water retention. Whether or not you load, saturation is the same at 3 weeks. Save your money.

im sure all studies werent based on 5g 200 lbs the study is worthless without a control therefore im sure they switched the variables at one point or another. I take more creatine and then i lift more weight

Thank you all for your suggestions. I see that I for sure need to get some carbs in before work out and will do that.

1. We were talking about creatine.
2. Yes, you can excrete protein through urine.
3. You are too wise for me; I give up.
