Always sick
Hey guys, Im not sure if this is the right place to post this or not but Im always sick.. I have the weakest immune system there ever was. If something is going around I catch it for sure and I keep it twice as long as anyone else... Any ideas on what to eat or what to take to improve my immune system ?

blue berries, 100% pure cocoa mixed with just water (bland but super high antioxidents), take a good multi vitiamin, garlic, cinnamon, tomatos.....other than that just eat clean and workout....
lots of other things too though you can eat.

Eat whole, natural foods and exercise vigorously at least 3 times a week. Eat tons of fruit and vegetables and take your vitamins. Also, wash your hands before you eat!
While having a weakened immune system isn't uncommon, it's generally the result of a ****ty diet and lifestyle. Refined sugar, heavy grain consumption, lack of exercise and sleep all contribute to immune system problems.

get at least 2 servings of fruit a day(blueberries are great) / 3 servings of veggies a day you need the antioxidents
maybe a lack of sleep
over training
poor diet
these may be some signs from ur sickness.. try adding some cinnamon and garlic also
if you get a chance post up a diet of what u take in on a normal day..
maybe you have a lack of nutrition and overtrain.. that might be my guess..
but u are still young and ur body is developing

Yup, and/or undereating.
I have found that taking zinc when I first feel a cold coming on greatly reduces the length and severity. Also, sleeping more and exercising a bit less help as well when you're already sick. You won't 'sweat' the virus out, and vigorous exercise will create excess strain on your immune system.
However, to *prevent* a cold, do what everyone else said. Carry antibacterial gel with you so that you can was your hands before every meal, and when you wash your hands with soap and water, you should do it long enough to sing "Row your boat" 2 times. Try not to touch door handles with your bare hands when exiting a restroom, too.

Agreed. When I feel a cold coming on I slam a bunch of Vit C / echinacea (and zinc as gfundaro said) until I start feeling better; this either prevents it or makes the effects and duration of the cold MUCH less severe.
Obviously you don't wanna OD on some vitamins/minerals but you get the idea

Also, drink PLENTY of fresh squeezed lemon and/or lime juice.
Just mix it w/ cold water-tastes very good.
1 large lemon or lime has only about 3gms of sugar, if you care to know.
