What percentage of women who diet to compete for the first gain it all back and more?

I was just curious as to how many of you have done contest prep (mainly focussing on the first timers) and then afterwards gained back you weight and maybe even more?

I competed in the spring and did really well, then only gained back like ten pounds which I was thrilled about and maintained that for a couple of months.
Unfortunatly soon after that I became ill and part of my problem was extreme fatigue which left me unabel to train and I gained 15 more pounds...ahhhh!

I am just back to clean eating and re-starting my training program now but was curious as to how others had made out after their initial expericences with competition prep and post competition (without medical issues like I had) just going from the extreme end back to "normal".

I haven't done it myself but my gym trains a lot of comp girls and it seesm to be pretty different for each girl.

If you are dedicated to the lifestyle/training/diet you can maintain a great and healthy off season figure as many of the girls do
But I have also seen many pack on the weight as they splurge for months after comps and then strictly diet and train their way back to comp shape.

Personally I think yoyoing could not be great for you and an all round healthy regime is best. Sickness can throw a spanner in the works but a couple of weeks of decent training and diet and you'll be back in no time
