ON's Pro Complex
For some reason I cannot post this in the "Supplement wars" section so maybe a mod will transfer this over there once they read this.
Anyway, I was wondering what you all thought about ON's Pro complex? Has anyone used it? Do you like/ dislike the results? Is it worth the extra $'s ?

I use it for a night time/post workout protein because of the egg albumin protein's slower digestion. I take 100% Whey 2 hours before I work out due to the fast digesting Whey. It is a really good protein, but is quite expensive.

It should be the 100% whey post workout if thats the faster digesting one. And Pro Complex pre workout/before bed if its slower digesting.
I havn't tried it and prob. never will becuase it's too expensive. Your not going to get any bigger taking the pro complex vs. whey conc.

I've been taking the Pro Complex for a few weeks now, I got the Rocky Road flavor. I really like it...I like the whey/egg combo and also the amount of glutamine they put in it (8 grams) not to mention the amount of protein per serving (55 grams). It is really expensive but I figured its probably about the same as if I got 100% whey, glutamine, and egg protein all seperatly. Plus, Pro Complex tastes pretty good. It doesn't clump up like a lot of the proteins I've tried and its pretty thin so I don't feel all bloated after drinking it. Even though its pricey I think I'm gonna get it again since I've been pretty happy with it. Hope that helps...

I take 100% before so I can replenish aminos DURING training, exactly why I take it 2 hours before. I take Pro Complex at night because of the slower digesting protein and the HIGH anabolic state you are in when you sleep. It works

On Rep Vacation
its the same as 100%whey except egg is added so it cant be called 100% whey I have the 4.4lb of vanilla and it doesn't taste as good as 100% whey vanilla. I got it for $17.50 at GNC. Its the old label bottle. good deal i thought.

instead of spending more money on the pro complex, why not just supplement with fiber? physilum husk or whatever its called. dirt cheap! 5 bucks for a big bag...... put it into every whey shake and it'll slow down its digestion....

I Tried the Chocolate
It was pretty tastey, but after awhile I got tired of the taste. It got to be a bit too chocolatey for me. So I ended up mixing it with ON Whey 100% vanilla. Man it was THE best! I don't know how many grams of protein I was consuming in that one shake. I had 1/2 scoop of Pro Complex chocolate, 1 scoop of ON Whey vanilla and a large scoop of low fat sugar free vanilla ice cream for thickness. Man what a treat!
The Socialist Party candidate for President of the US, Norman Thomas, said this in a 1944 speech: "The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of "liberalism," they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."

I use to take pro complex years ago and loved it but now I prefer MRP's with the micellan protein, especially since the price is about the same. I was paying $15 more for MRP's than plain protein (whey, casein) 5 years ago but today the prices are about equal in most instances. MRP's have really come down in price.
