I felt like that too sometimes when i took it. I just sucked it up and did my workout anyway. Its not that bad once you start doing your lifts. Its not the brand. Try micronized creatine, its supose to be easier on your stomach.
hey buddy your taking to much, i have the same ****. maybe your taking tablespoons instead of teaspoons, use the tiny spoons and take like 15g that do the trick.
Always remember to take loads of water. Also, don't just gulp down loads at a time since that'll just aggravate the stomach pains. Instead, make sure you get a steady intake throughout the day.
whenever i take it without any food, like pasta or whatever, i get lots of stomach ache. The stomach needs something to work with. Just eat before workout, like 1 or two hours before.
Try taking creatine in caplet form. I cannot drink creatine whatsoever, because I have the same reaction and I have an alergic (sinus) reaction as well.
I don't "believe" in creatine either, as creatine really only is an energy source our cells in our body utilizes. It just so happens when muscle cells are "supersaturated" with creatine, this creates an osmotic effect that draws water into the cells. This reaction volumizes the muscle cell which can result in increased strength. Thus, if we're able to lift more weight due to this increased strength, we're able to break down more muscle which, hopefully under the right conditions, will result in hypertrophy.
However, simply lifting more weight during a set results in the same "effect" (increased strength.) so, why make yourself half-sick over a supplement doesn't make any sense to me.
