    before and after back pics

    although the first pic is a year or so old, it really could be considered as being 4 months old as i really wasn't serious big time until early december/ very late november of 2004.

    My strength and appearance 14 months ago, APPROXIMATELY when it was taken (I am not sure of the exact date) and 4 months ago- was virtually identical, as i was only working out haphazardly and not seriously so i stayed the same. This was also shown in that my lifts remained the same!

    anyway here they are hehe

    Damn, I've been working on my back for 5 months now and there is barely any progress. More pull ups I guess.

    upper back/traps/arms look thick, lats/lower back lagging a bit, although I can see a christmas tree forming up nicely. Pull ups/heavy rows and deads for U

    my back has always been challenging to work on, but basically that's a 4 month progress picture hehe

    Do you think i should aim for more reps on my weighted chinups? currently i go for 4-7 usually

    Yea, that's pretty low, does wonders for strength though I'm sure?

    I'm trusting the old 8-12 with pull ups my self, I like to feel the burn in lats. I go a bit heavier with rows and then really pack on the weight for deads.

    i've also heard pullovers are a good exercise though i'm not sure which exercise that is lol

    tomorrow when i do back i'll do more sets with lower weight for chinups (25 lbs) instead of with higher weight (40) where i was getting about 4-7 reps- similar to what i did for legs yesterday, was to lower the weight on squats by 20 lbs and aim for 10-14 reps

    I like to say work your back till the burn in it is as bad as say biceps or something, then you know yer getting a decent workout
    stats as of week 5/1-5/7
    bench: 350
    squat: 405 ass to grass
    incline: 275
    arms: almost 18"
    height: 6'1
    weight: 213pnds
