You did very well. Forget what your naysayers have to say. The old saying is true. Hard work is a reward within itself.
You did awesome, especially for your first contest. I am fairly sure the guy who beat you was older or had some other advantage.

what do i know but for your standing relaxed pose, flare your lats out a bit more like that guy next to you was doing. that is how i do that pose, im nowhere near your level but flare out, it looks great, your back looks great too and that wider relaxed pose would look awesome if you did it. unless you feel more comfortable that way, i just do it the way all the ifbb guys do in their contests (not comparing myself to them at all or anything).
with your lats our and your delts pushed out it looks better
(on myself anyhow)
who am i tho to tell you, whatever you feel better doing man.
you did well, great job,

The teen was almost three years older than me, he'd be turning twenty in a few weeks. He was also heavily juiced, note his gyno and stomach bloat.
