    Close Grip Bench Press Elbow Pain

    Whenever i do this excersise my left elbow kills me during the upward extension. Can anyone think of how i can alleviate this pain?

    really to work your triceps u reccomend wide grip like a regular bench press grip

    I don't really understand what you were trying to say from the lack of punctuations. But, wide grip is for chest isolation, and close grip is for tri's....

    exactly and that kid is saying that if you go wide grip but tuck your elbows then it isn't bench press it's a tricep workout

    but you would need your hands 6-8 inches apart really to not include chest right
