Skelooth's Weight Loss Journal with Bi-weekly pics
What I will post in this topic:
occasional logs of what I eat
My splits and workout programs
Comments about what works
Gripes about what doesn't work
Supplementation I use
Road Blocks I encounter
Hurdles I've gotten past
Lots and lots of pictures.
http://patrickavella.com/fitness <~ Bi-weekly pictures, updated every other friday, rain or shine.
I'm considering changing up both my training and nutrition for the coming month of april, I'll be sure to post on it later or tomorrow. Pressed for time, got to run for now, just wanted to make the topic.

Okay, getting to business. Last weekends weigh in was 218. I caught a cold and I'm due for a week off anyway, so this week's schedule is all cardio.
Monday 35 minutes stationary bike
Tuesday 60 minutes step class
Wednesday 35 minutes stationary bike
Thursday 60 minutes step class
Friday 35 minutes stationary bike.
I'm still playing with my diet and supps, but so far I have some general guidelines I'm going to follow.
Meal one complex carb, EFAs, protein
Meal two protein and one pound of veggies
Meal three protein and complex carb
*workout then pwo shake*
Meal 4 protein and complex carb
meal 5 protein, 1lb of veggies, EFAs
meal 6 protein, 1lb of veggies, EFAs
That has been decided already. What I'm still not sure of is if I want to take dairy out of my diet or not. I could feasabley cut out the dairy and take calcium supplements instead.
Now, supplements, this is tricky. I'm going to start a new supplement regiment on monday along with my split 4 week/4week split.
I will be taking, creatine, stacker 2 (ephedrine free), and ephedrine before workouts. ALTHOUGH I may drop the stacker and replace it with green tea extract, I'm really undecided. Of course i take multis and fish oil :P
For my workout program, I plan on uploading some PDF type files for yall. So I might work on them later. It will be a 3 day leg pull push split, each workout lasting around half hour. I'll do abs and forearms on pull day. Cardio will be similar to what I'm doing this week, only instead of stationary bike it will be treadmill, and it will be done immediately after lifting. Just for the hell of it, here are some pics that are not present in my progross photos webpage

You are looking a lot better.
I only have two suggestions regarding your supps. If you drop the stacker 2 (which I think you should, it's overpriced), you should pick up some caffeine to stack with the E. I think you mentioned you drink a lot of coffee, though.
The other suggestion is to buy bulk green tea extract because it is just a great supp in general, cutting or bulking.
Good luck regardless!

But seriously, awesome job Skelooth! Keep up the good work, you look great! Not to mention, you have a ton of muscle, so you're going to be both huge and shredded!
I wish you good luck, although it doesn't look like you need it!

Skelooth, I know I posted on your last thread, but I still think you're an inspiration to us all. Whenever I talk to someone who feels that losing weight is impossible and that they'll always be fat, I mention you to them!

no that's from last december to this march, part of the date stamp got cut off. It read 12/04/04
so it's a little less than 4 months comparison. Same time frame as the back comparison.

well i give u credit for sticking with it ur progress has been slow and steady some would argue to slow but everyone is different and progresses differently. i have seen some amazing progress personally and from others in 12 weeks maybe u should go on a 12 week program like body for life and change things up and really try to challenge urself to really make a huge diff in 12 weeks time because i think ur at the point where u need to try something different to shock ur body

3 servings of diary per day is supposed to promote more fat loss than calcium supplements. I forget the study, but there were three groups, the calcium from dairy did the best.
Damn, that is a lot of veggies!
Take a look at this, maybe this is something you want to try:

Tomorrow is my first day back at the gym in 10 days, it will feel good to be back I slacked just a little on cardio this week but at the end I was still down weight, so I seem to be on track.
As I "promised", here is a copy of my split

I have no doubt that you can do that split. What I am waiting to hear is how you ate those pounds of veggies.
