Gamecocks Win, Gamecocks Win!!!!
Well the season is shaping up nicely. We need only a few more wins to be in position to finish 1st or second in the SEC.
Hopefully 1st.
I want to go to Atlanta and beat LSU. That is my dream season, perfect ending. I am glad those cheap shot artists lost to Kentucky!

tough loss yesterday against Vandy. that plus the Tenn. loss has definitely made the SEC East race interesting. of course, i'm happy for GA.

Well, not to sound negative or anything but I've been to all of the home games, the N.C. game and watched the LSU and Georgia games on television. Our offense has looked a bit sketchy all season. Our defense is looking great and definitely has a fighting spirit. The defense can't carry the day for every game. Our offense has to show some cohesiveness and spirit. If they don't wake up and smell the coffee we are in for a scary rest of the season.
I don't get how they can be so void of spirit while the defense fights so hard for the win.
If the team who played Georgia and Kentucky can show up, we have a fighting chance against our future opponents. It's not going to be easy even if we are playing all out.
I'll hold out hope and continue to cheer,

The Tennessee game was a heartbreaker, but at least the offense showed its still around during the second half of the game. The Florida/Georgia game was entertaining, but I did not think it was too classy of Georgia to pull the stunt at the beginning of the game. Normally, I like Richt a lot but that was definitely poor judgment on his part. That being said, Georgia played a great game.
We have Arkansas this weekend. I thought we would beat Vandy and Tennessee and that Arkansas would be the team for us to worry about considering their strengths and our weaknesses. However, it didn't turn out that way so I sure hope we kick their tails.

I tend to disagree. Unprofessional? Maybe, but I've seen far more unprofessional things go unsaid. And as far as poor judgement? No way! That call set the tone for the whole game. The whole Urbie Crier postgame tiff that brought about Richt's apology was ridiculous. Crier is just pissed he didn't think of it himself. His pissing and moaning is quite hypocritical considering he allowed his team to stomp at the center of LSU's field just a few weeks prior.

Gamecocks demise....
Its called injuries. We had a great starting 11 in week 1, but lost too many good players on D.
Offense, well I am hoping that we can get Garcia rolling next year. We need some life on Offense. We have all the weapons to score, especially on the ground with two outstanding tight-ends (Cooke and Saunders). Not to mention our running backs are outstanding. But we just need a better o-line.
Hopefully Spurrier will get out there and find us some good quality linemen.
